For straight haired girls: Yes, it will still benefit!! it will keep your hair from rubbing on the pillowcase or sheet while you sleep and should keep it from tangling. I would go for a silk scarf- it looks softer and more comfortable. I’m afro-latina but my family with straight hair wears bonnets/doobies with no problem!! its a great protective tool since friction can promote further breakage when you move in your sleep- hope this helped

Hey I would I recommend spraying your hair with water before putting the oil because oil is a sealant and water is the actual moisturizer and be careful about what oils your putting on your scalp and how much oil your putting because your hair follicles could get clogged.

Bonnets are also beneficial for hair growth; my 100% Italian cousin had a Betty Boop-hairstyle last year and wearing a bonnet every night helped her hair get back beyond the shoulders.
