I used to think it was a crime that certain episodes of Doctor Who were lost forever. Now, I'm wishing the last 3 seasons were.
IMO Davies can no longer be called psychologically stable or rational; he ignores 60 years of canon, insults all the straight white men with reverse sexist and racial discrimination in an illogical appeal to only 4 percent of its prior audience, imagines there is a "new audience" that the ratings prove doesn't exist and when his consumer audience collectively complains he tells them to basically go to hell because he is the new nazi producer who ruins and hurts whatever and whomever he wants like a sick madman running around the museum with a knife slashing up all the great works of art; alternating between laughing and angrily screaming as he does so. His scripts are as irrational as he is and increasingly as unpleasant with now two of four stories about the monsters wanting to devour human flesh, the second one about dismembering and eating babies in a dark and dirty place for a Christmas celebration in a show meant for little kids. IMO Davies is sick. He's gone mad. He should not be in a production office but instead in a cell in an level four psychiatric institution where he can scream at imaginary detractors all day long.
Doctor Who is, as millions of others have said, killed by a deranged madman. If anyone still likes this stupid childish sh*t then they're an even bigger loser than Davies who can probably use literal, clinically-defined insanity as a defense for flushing Disney's money down the toilet.
Disney is 8$ billion in the who total. They just fired thousands of workers. They pushed out release dates by a year to re-create already terrible incomplete movies and the Disney CEO said audiences are rejecting their movies because of the same terrible content resulting in DW's catastrophic current ratings plunge. No ratings, no desperately-needed merchandising. No manufacturer will touch this disgusting shit-show now. This show probably won't even last its laughably short 9-episode "season" because why would desperately cash-strapped Disney pay for tge very expensive post production on low-rated total garbage that no one is watching? They won't.

Just did the same, 10 years too late, can't watch the pantomime of real life the BBC presents.
The trouble is they keep extending the definition of "television". I cancelled my TV Licence in 2018 and the last, "Are you sure you don't need one?" letter they sent me included Live UA-cam vids as a reason to require one. I'd love them to prove in law how anything not governed by OFCOM is television. I mean podcasts and radio online are also live broadcasts, but surely they are not "television"?

I said no I don't have one he said what's that I can hear in the other room I said a radio now fck off to which he said I can come back with the police to which I replied now you can fck off and they did I'm 62 and have never bought one had two occasions when they came to the door and they both left with nothing but abuse

For on screen talent they have 13.2% people of colour , which in comparison to the population as a whole is correct with 18 % roughly being people of colour .
(I'm not personally happy with the term POC ,people of colour but its the appropriate term and I don't have a better one ) and remember lots of bbc shows are based in cities which increases the likely hood of shows needing POC actors to make the story correct for the location.

It’s a method of creating a coalition interest group that can levy its power against the host population. An Indonesian person has very little in common with a sub-Saharan African, but they’re both labelled POC.
