Pretty crazy how Sam has the skill and ability to make riding a bike look tame and almost boring while doing at exactly 1 million mph and sliding around an off camber corner with a barbed wire fence for a safety net.
I asked him once how he chooses when to wear a full face/knee pads and he said, "sometimes if the trails get a little gnarly" and so what I take from that is....unless rules require it, he doesn't think this stuff or windrock or most places he's riding straight up flat out are gnarly LOL LOL. Freakin legend.
I was noticing the same thing. That's a technique I need to add to my toolbox. Normally I focusing on using front and back brake with no skid, but to get the bike rotated at higher speed... a whole other level.
So the#MTB session of the #VITALRAW guy. Sam Hill yuor in the so. Western in Australia woouu not crachet in yuor #mountainbiking the legen rider bike 🤟🤙🗣️yyaaaSicke. Saulds of Chile 🇨🇱
Me: "Hey Sam, there's this super gnarly barbed wire fence on the exit of this turn. I've just gotta climb over it to get the shot." Sam: " No worries bud, don't plan on hitting it." 🤘
I must be getting old but I prefer a silent freehub. That nest of hornets in the rear axle is rediculous. All of my bikes are quiet except my freerider which has a click click not a continuous drone from a swarm!
Did you see the latest Vital Gear Show? - ua-cam.com/video/WGawmO7ELSE/v-deo.html
Nice barbed wire fence on the outside of that fast off camber corner
I built a lower section of the track which avoids the barbed wire fence but heck it’s cool seeing him drift that firebreak
He looks so strong and composed on the bike, my god
Looks like he is on a casual walk in the park. :O
The true sound of speed and best raw video . He is just too good 👌
its like watching an artist, incredible skill on display here, two wheel drifting, i love watching this aussie.

Probably the best Sam Hill video since Earthed 5. Well done.
Sam the man! Best drifts and line choice we might ever see on a mountain bike.
Im smelling a 4th EWS title. . . Go for it Sam. . .
He doesn't even look like he's trying, yet he's probably covering ground faster than anyone to have ridden there before.
No rider feels the terrain like Sam.....so smooth!
That first drop on that huge rock face is steep! It sure looks steeper off camera.
Perfect front brake control
Sam Hill suspension is on point! Really liking how it works..
Just imagine, you are heading down your favourite trail, nice and slow, and you hear this guy coming up from behind.
Sam is a rear wheel steer MX bloke on a Enduro. Rare and brilliant to watch.
I will wait two hours to see Sam Hill ride!
Ah, Australia, where a barbed wire fence directs you at every high-speed turn
best flat pedal mountain biker!!!
The fact he does this on flats is amazing
Sam's still faaast!! LEGEND
He's my favorite!!!!!🤓🤘🔥
Sam Hill is the man.
Hill on another level!
What a beautiful thing to wake up to after it snowed all night
Sam hill is a Best 🤘
Just like the vital interview, little giggles from Brett
Sam Hill & Chris Kovarik should do a film together. Same riding style. Driftin Fast, Flat out & Flat pedals. And friggen Aussies. 🤘🤘🤘.
Goat! Gotta be.
2:57 It's-a-Me, Mario!
Ahhh that old chestnut, the how I think I ride meme
All I have to say is this…..FUCK YEAH
No knee pads necessary for this casual ride! 😎🔥🤘
Goat
Giving the people what they want
Precise like a sniper!
i like his style of using those flat pedals
Foot out, flat out!
Amazing ride
The whole trail looks awesome but that road gap especially 😍
Only a handful of people to have hit it too
Whooop whoopie!!! 🕺🏻⚡️🚲💨
Sam hill the John Wick of Mountain biking
this guy look fast, maybe he could try and race in EWS one day
Idol...
“I am a patient boy. I wait, I wait, I wait”
GUILTY!

Dans le monde du VTT il y a deux légendes : Nicolas Vouilloz et Sam Hill !!!
How does any one give that a thumbs down?
some other EWS racers maybe... ;-)
Interesting how he uses so much rear brake for control. Notes taken.
I was noticing the same thing. That's a technique I need to add to my toolbox. Normally I focusing on using front and back brake with no skid, but to get the bike rotated at higher speed... a whole other level.
What’s not to like 👍 , seriously 🤘.
King Hill!
He's ridonculous.
Righteous
Sic edit
🤘
Wondering over how many snakes he rolled in his career
😂
I think they call them danger noodles down there
Most of the snakes look like sticks down here. You just plow over them. Which pisses them off haha
😎👍👍👍
2:58 think he hit a power-up
Only guy were handguards look good
Fast is the only cool
Free Style Fred

Fast boi
Goddamn!
All I want is for Sam Hill to race downhill again
He doesn’t want to make the good dh racers cry
@@felixhayes4151 if you listen to the Vital MTB podcast released last week in the interview he answers that... literally the last sentence.
Woe
You maniac!
Fucking hell... I would have been wrapped up in that barbed wire, no question...
Me: "Hey Sam, there's this super gnarly barbed wire fence on the exit of this turn. I've just gotta climb over it to get the shot."
Sam: " No worries bud, don't plan on hitting it."
🤘
Speed & finesse fused into one! That barbed wire corner made me cringe...
How does he get any grip on the loose flast turns??
Magic, that’s the only reason I can think of
@@MTBSoja lol.
Is that the nukeproof horizon v2 hub?? My God
guy RIPS it through those trails
Fucking Beast
Some big huck to flat but the bike never bottomed out. Impressive
yea, if I would set up my bike like that, after one run, I'll go home with broken wrists and ankles.
He's like the bicycle version of Casey Stoner, Mick Doohan or Mat Mladin.
How many pawls/points of engagement do those damn hubs have!? 😳😳
FFS ... that is annoyingly fast in those conditions. Just how, how ?
RAD
He's like on a rodeo but he looked so steady while riding a bull... 🤣
never saw him on a ht, shredding the shit out of it!!! come on sam!!!
He’s on the nukeproof giga
Ik this guy it is my friend that does motocross,s friend I met him before
What if to qualify for the EWS you had to use flats?
jacy showed him everything he knows
You showed Connor everything he knows 🤘
Pengelley. There's a Cornish name!
We made it to Australia 👍
he said once you know what is drifting? is what I do on corners
I must be getting old but I prefer a silent freehub.
That nest of hornets in the rear axle is rediculous.

To each his own. I-9 Hydras are music to my ears.
New shock from BlackBox ?
Boosh
Loosey goosey
Flat pedals wins..
Any one know what hubs he is running??
If the camera makes things seem less steep, then some of these lines must be more than 90degrees.
Christ on a bike!!
1
Why the hell is this on at 4am?
What type of Rear Hub is that?
Last I recall Sam rode Mavic rims and hubs
Who in the SAM HILL is responsible for all this??? 2:12..... He don't care....
Why all the skidding?
Rotate the bike faster round the corners, like a skandi flick
Amazing rider and harsh terrain, but my God do my local trails look so much more fun (and moist) then this dry wasteland.
This guy don't even have to pedal to be fast
