Are you the same person posting "criminally underrated " comments on everything that was huge in the 90's but not so much now? seriously, just ssshhhh!
I love this so much. It is so much better than starshaped because there are not too many live performances but also a lot of their comments and it's so good
Whoa what a great upload. Never seen this before. A fantastic band captured at their socially awkward artistic highpoint. Feeling pretty lucky to see this early stage of them crafting "So You" :D
Damon really wanted to get the composition of the Ordinary Decent Criminal music score right. The people playing the music weren’t taking it too seriously at first and Damon got it out of them in the end. Which is why he is the best
@@itsMrNoble Followed by all the other musicians walking out in sympathy, (you can see they've all collectively decided he's a c--t) followed by having to pay for it all again, and negative stories about his bullying and verbal abuse.
I remember watching this when it went out, i really disliked blur at the time and watched through gritted teeth but now in hindsight with age i actually give them a lot more credit....
BritPop is a media term, it was always labelled Indie Music Scene!! The Oasis/Blur thing when you look at it now, is nonsense, the bands actually did not care it was a media circus which was just for just 1 song, they were both Indie bands, No 1 was not the aim.
He's playing a gorillaz song here, called hand clapper, it was a demo that he developed, it wasn't available anywhere until the reissue of the self titled last year. In fact he played another thing that later evolved into Bill Murray, another gorillaz song
it’s “Beagle 2” off the album 13 by Blur, great fkn instrumental, but i don’t think you’re right, it’s just another filler (still very interesting) instrumental
Leisure's got to be one of the most criminally underrated albums of all time hands down
I couldn’t agree more.
yay

It was dull
Leisure was probably blurs worst album tbh. That’s not to say it isn’t good tho
I love this so much. It is so much better than starshaped because there are not too many live performances but also a lot of their comments and it's so good
I liked both, they are both different stages of their careers
Watching them write So You was incredible

damon with his terence fletcher moment working on that musical score
Damon can get away with everything, the little charmer. His genius is his only cross to bear :D
Graham Coxon sounds exactly like Richey Edwards just with an English accent lmao x
I've been looking for this documentary for years after seeing it as a kid. Cheers

Who went "ooooo!" when he walked out?! lol
@@bugmanuk I was thinking about that moment a few weeks ago and I would have thrown his ass right out of the session if I was Damon
He's actually a proper knob-head in reality, not a nice guy.

Oasis hated being called indie, they just called themselves rock n’ roll
Please tell me 43:33 exists as a full track somewhere.
