HELLOO 🥹 thank you so much for reacting to my guide. I just finished watching it and I couldn’t stop myself from smiling because you seemed so genuinely interest in my little video, and it felt so weird to watch someone react to something I worked so hard on, so I really wanted to thank you for taking the time to watch it and comment on it. I know it didn’t bother you that much but I once again apologize for the many mistakes I’ve made, I will definitely try to find more reliable sources if I ever make a 2025 version. And this is kinda crazy but you made me cry too 😭 I had definitely teary eyes while editing the Lia part, but watching you react and cry to it really made me remember how hard this era was for every midzy and I ended up crying with you 😭 But this only made this viewing experience more special for me, so I guess I should thank you for that too 😭 Thank you so much again 🤍
@@chaeryavenue not me crying at this comment 😩 to you’re way too sweet 💕 your video is not little and I loved it! I had so much more appreciation towards them! It opened my eyes on so much. You did such a good job. Little details like certain dates and stuff doesn’t mean a thing to me. 💕💕 your video deserves so much more love. Please don’t apologize 🥺A couple of us had commented and hoped you would make more cause we genuinely enjoyed this one!! Sorry to make you cry. Lia part is rough but it just makes you respect their work so much more.
I cried too lol ITZY is my favorite k pop group and my five favorite idols !! When I was first getting into k pop they were one of the handful of groups that I came across early on and they quickly became my favorite .. I didn't even know any of their music at first lol I was pretty much only watching fan edits and compilations and other ITZY content and I became a fan because of the members themselves .. and then when I finally got around to listening to their music that was the cherry on top lol It's been about a year and a half now since I came across them and I don't miss a thing they put out .. they're the best group and idols to me !
I'm sorry you cried. It was a hard but must watch. After this guide I just had soooo much more appreciation and respect towards them. They really deserve all the awards and records they've broken. I love your story of how you got into Itzy. Its so unique and fun!!
Actually, Lia confirmed that she got accepted to the SM auditions in Canada and was about to sign the contract but she was too young back then and her parents didn't allow her to. Eventually, when they came back to Korea Lia pursued her passion. There's actually a little story About this, Lia stole her mom's card, enrolled herself to that voice academy and took a train by herself to attend the lessons (these got found out by her mom because she got notified from the card lmao). So after all that Lia got into JYP and the rest is history. I remember her telling this story from an interview or something, maybe a radio show? 😅
I’m sorry you cried. Lia’s part was a hard but must watch. I learned so much from this video and just appreciate them so much more now. Thank you so much for watching and I’m so so stoked Lia is back!! I’m sure all midzys are!
@@SerenityReacts Oh, no apologies necessary. This was not your fault at all. I cry when I see others cry, I know that about myself already so that's on me. You are fine. My memory is crap so I do not remember if you have checked out Dreamcatcher Mind yet. It is a short reality tv series they did (FAR too short, only 10 episodes)! There is an episode that has a lot of crying over some pretty deep stuff, and they show enough of it in a 30-second-long intro for that video that when it first dropped, I knew I could not watch the video right then; I knew that I was not in a good headspace for it at that moment. I waited three weeks to see it and that is because I had to make sure to have a good solid day so I would be emotionally stable. I STILL cried to that episode BUT it would have been far worse if I had watched it the day the video dropped. If you cry during a reaction, then that is your reaction, plain and simple (part of the magic of reaction videos). I knew this video has the potential to make MIDZY cry so I should have prepared myself better or maybe watched your reaction on a different day when I was sure I would be okay to watch.
Great video. I just nearly cried 3 times. 😢 Can't wait for the new album to drop & watch your reaction. Let's all support GOLD, MIDZY! ✊ btw: Crazy to think that MAKO did train with the ITZY girls. I belive she only did not make it because she's so short. 😁
Thank you! I’m so stoked for the new album! Honestly my theory on Mako is that JYP knew he was going to be doing nizi project in Japan and wanted her to partake there.
@@SerenityReacts JYP and Sony announced there were plans to do a show (nizi project) in Feb 2019, so I guess you are right to some extent. If there were no plans for nizi project in the end of 2018 she could've been in contention with Yuna for Somi's spot when she left the debut team... but I think it's unlikely that the show wasn't already in planning, they probably looked at her as a "hey we have this resource here that we're not gonna use rn which could help level the other girls up and get attention" lmao
Thank you so much for reacting to itzy 💙 it's my first time watching this guide too and ngl it made mear tear up a bit knowing how these girls work hard sm.

Just watched it! Thanks for your reaction 🙌 And yes, ITZY have a lot of achievements, yet I feel they're still so underrated as a group. This was a fun watch reliving all the past moments again! ❤
@@tukshin3379 thank you for watching! As for pronunciations you had trouble with (and the guide did not help): Chaeryeong: say "chair". say "young". Say them together. That's the pronunciation. Now mentally rebracket from "chair-young" to "chae-ryeong", keeping the pronunciation the same. Congrats, now you know how to say "ry" at the start of a syllable. Ryujin: use the knowledge from above. Her name is two syllables; "ree-you-jin" is not it. "rye-yoo-jin" is DEFINITELY not it. "ryu" is like the Australian "roo" (kangaroo), but with the "ry" you just got above instead of the simple "r". Ryu-jin.
MISAMO's NEW LOOK music video and NMIXX Guide next please! I know you already have a lot going on, but I'd love reactions to MISAMO and NMIXX! Also, after learning about ITZY, I feel like it's time to watch Sixteen. Chaeryeong is in there with her sister, Chaeyeon (debuted in IZ*ONE and as a soloist). Somi (debuted in IOI and as a soloist), who was originally going to debut in ITZY, was also in there. As well as Jiwon from fromis_9 and Natty from KISS OF LIFE (she debuted as a soloist first though).
I did watch misamos new look MV! I just got to edit and upload it to Patreon because I know YT will block it. Even if they let me post it there’s a really good chance they will block it at some point. And nmixx is still on my list! I’ll come around to sixteen at some point. I need more happy stuff for a bit though.
The beginning of this video is slightly erroneous. ITZY's debut in 2019 was not the first girl group of the Fourth Generation of K-Pop. It was indeed JYP's first girl group of the fourth gen but there were other groups that debuted in 2018 that have always been known as Fourth Generation groups; (G)I-DLE, for instance.
@@SerenityReacts Ah, okay. Well, the video is still worth re-watching once in a while. I thought that creator did a really great job! It's THE ONLY video on their channel, but it is so good that I hope they do more (obviously they will know to be more careful and fact-check things first). Their edits were really great! I told them that when I clicked on the link you provided. :)
There are many more mistakes in that video. Somi was never in the original line up for ITZY. Somi left JYPE the same month the ITZY members were informed they were on the debut team. You do not get told you are on the debut team and immediately quit the company. You just don't. She left because she was NOT chosen for ITZY. Neither Somi nor ITZY has ever said she was going to be on the team. By now they would have spoken about it. Somi officially said she left JYPE because she didn't agree with the musical direction, they had for her. Not one media reporter has ever asked ITZY or Somi about it, why? Because it was never a thing in Korea. Some western fan site after ITZY debuted, looked for trainee photos pre-debut, found the JYPE trainees at a Twice concert and said look it's ITZY pre-debut, Somi was with Chaeryeong and they are known to be close friends, so they just happened to be in the frame together. This content creator has never corrected this. Lia passed the audition for SM but her parents would not sign the contract as they did not want Lia to become a trainee she never joined SM. She passed but did not join. KpopStar3 was in 2013 not 2014, Chaeryeong joined JYPE in 2013 with her sister. She trained 6 years before debut.
