I live in Long Beach, and jetBlue is an amazing airline. The Long Beach City Council, and various neighborhood groups living around the airport, has had it in for jetBlue for quite some time. I love jetBlue, but because of how some people treated them here in LGB, we don't deserve to have them. I'm glad they are moving their operation to LAX. I think their presence there will be much more appreciated, and lucrative, for jetBlue. I wish them all the best. As far as some people on the Long Beach City Council are concerned......no comment!
Whenever I fly JetBlue it's always one of the classic interiors... my screen works about 60% of the time, I elbow change to Sirius XM about 10 times during the flight, and I alway seem to end up watching old SpongeBob episodes. This made me nostalgic!

I flew them in their even more space cabin in July of 2019. On the first leg the cabin was really nice despite being the old interior. On the second leg however, the IFE screens stopped working for about a third of the passengers. By the last hour of the flight the FAs decided to try to restart the whole system to no avail.
For years I have flown to Florida in the winter on JetBlue and have always found the seating and legroom comfortable. Their snack service has been great (you can get seconds on snacks and drinks if you ask) and the crew always pleasant. The IFE on these old planes is limited but adequate, especially on shorter flights.
I’ll give you a little sneak as to why we moved to LAX because I am an employee there, our main reason is because many big carriers removed spots from LAX allowing jetblue to obtain more slots and our plan is to implement about 70 flights by 2026 including international and possibly Hawaii

I noticed that when the plane banked, there was breakup of the video play. I remember the snack as they served blue potato chips. I asked for extras to show my agency manager. I was impressed with the service and the aircrew and want to do a revisit. I do not know how as Jet Blue has discontinued local West Coast service and right now our Transcon flights are shared with SEA and I can get better service on Alaska. I flew jetblue before. It was one of their old interiors. The old interior was a bit crappy(broken tray tables, improperly oriented tv remote, black and white tv screen, etc.), but I liked their free snacks, free internet, tons of legroom,etc. JetBlue is like heaven in the skies. Best airline in America!!!!!
I made this trip JFK-LGB, return on the JetBlue interior shown here. I'm 6'2" or 188 cm tall and was quite happy with the legroom and width of the JetBlue coach seat.
Wow brings back memories flying in an interior like that around 2012-2014 I do remember those those small TVs they had behind the seat it’s interesting JetBlue is replacing these interiors with newer modern ones.

I wonder if Southwest will expand its number of destinations out of Long Beach? Will Delta and Hawaiian resume service? Long Beach is such a convenient airport for domestic flights, not a zoo like LAX
You made very good time from Summit NJ to JFK--it was 330am when you left but only 4:07am when you arrived at the kiosk,so your modes of transport moved right along! Flying WB,you gained some time but due to your getting up at some ungodly hour,no doubt you were virtually exhausted by the time you arrived at LGB. Looking at the outdated screen,it looked like there was dust or some sort of crud on the top of the monitor,wondering how Puppy Man was able to travel with his companion in-cabin? Bottled water just doesn't cut it for me--for an early morning departure,coffee onboard is a must-have but I see you got some before boarding. Disconcerting to see overcast at LGB,I carry this stereotype that California is always sunny,warm with clear skies. Flying Jetblue out of IAH isn't practical,family lives west,would have to fly to JFK and connect to a flight back east to PHX. How did you get home from LGB?
Emergency stroopwaffel.... how about biscoff cookies lol... my grandma loves delta so I sent her some over Christmas... nice treat since she isn’t going to florida
damn I flew on one of the A320 Restyled cabins a few months ago, and I have to say it is a lot more modern and visually pleasing compared to their old bland interiors, although those old interiors remind me of OG JetBlue
I hope I can catch one of the last few (if not THE last) flight between LGB and JFK before it sunsets. For smaller airports in LA I think there's still service at BUR-JFK and PSP-JFK for the foreseeable future. - Red
ive flown JetBlue but its always their new interiors not the old ones. for some reason i like the new ones better then the old ones. but i have to say the no powerports on the old interior sucks because if your working or watching something on your laptop or iphone and your battery suddenly goes dead what do you do? also this bottled water and presealed snack thing is getting on my nerves why cant they have the regular beverage service on request during this time.

Im going to be flying from T5 in a couple of weeks. Did you notice any agencies or anyone checking travelers at JFK or LGB going to states on Cuomos restriction list?
Into New York yes, during my arrival we had 2 officers ask everyone where they were coming from, and if you mentioned one of the states, you’d be asked to fill out a questionnaire. As for departure, nothing at all, it’s almost like business as usual
the most comfortable seats you can get for economy... 34" of leg room and the cushions are like pillows. it's like sitting in premium economy in other airlines for the price of regular. i booked a flight in this type of a320 specifically for the seats!

I flew OAK-LGB round trip in the old interior. I can safely say that JB is my favorite.

I used to always fly JB from AUS-LGB, and they definitely are my favorite airline, I'm sad that they left LGB, it was probably my favorite airport.
I bought a Jetblue MintPoor seat from LAX-MCO last year. Buying an entire row on Jetblue was cheaper than buying a delta first seat.
The cabin is very good for the early 00's, now it needs to be retrofitted!
