i know i am peasant dressed as a princess...but that doesnt mean you have to take my clothes away.
If theres a method to writing a song, how come im getting it wrong...Chrissie Hynde gets it right all the time and for many, many years....how funny that she would put that in a song..
    She is the BEST!!

That clever rhythm part in the song confused him. I'd rather have a quality Latte with the Pretenders, than a bad Maxwell House dirt sourced "coffee" and a third rate band full of pretenders that could never come close to being the Pretenders.

Chrissie writes great songs, yet hardly gets covered. I'd like to see this song, Brass In Pocket, Kid, Talk of the Town and a good, at least, 20 other superbly written songs of hers covered by talented stars. Ok, maybe someday! In the meantime, the originals are so great, I'll just spin them again.

I love this video and the music . This was about the time Chrissie was on her own except for her second guitar player, at least in this video, after Honeyman died. who was the drummer, keyboard player and bassist ? the keyboard part near the last third of the song, is beautiful , starting about 2:28 . also wonder where was the locations this was shot at ?
