    Bruce lee forever ♡ Thanks for sharing this interview. Always great to hear from people who actually knew him than all these haters who speculate about him. Bruce was ahead of anyone then and even up to this day. Peace.

    Great interview!! It’s always good to hear from people that actually had contact with Bruce Lee!! Not the armchair talking heads that mistake their opinions for the facts!

    I never said James Lee and Bruce were not close friends. I said I don't think Bruce and Linda lived with James for as long as 2 years. I think it was more like 9 months, because Bruce and Linda moved in with James in Aug. 1964. Bruce and Linda went to Hong Kong to stay with Bruce's family in May 1965 for 4 months, so it could not have been 2 years as Greglon states.
    I enjoyed your video. Thanks for uploading.

      Well, Greglon was just a little kid at the time Bruce was living in James Lee's home, shouldn't really expect him to remember exact dates, etc., from his childhood.

    @ joesmith and other viewers: After Bruce Lee's death, Bob Baker said this to me -" Bruce overworked himself." It sounded like Lee was an "extremist." He lost 15 pounds just before he died. He mostly wieghed 145 lbs while he was at his peak. Baker would hint to me he would meet Lee at his house. And when Lee was in the San Francisco area, he would contact Bob. Bruce was born in San Francisco Ca. He was Chinese American-German mixed.

    @ Joe Smith, I appreciated ur words as a gentleman. There are people who get on the enternet with HATE words having NOTHING to share sincerely. I always try to place something special! Thx again!

    Plse note: Bob Wall, did NOT star in The Chinese Connection as the Russian -strong man. It was Robert " Bob" Baker who played in that role. See the CASTING in the film yourself. Thx!

    If U may calculate the times Bruce and James " Jimmy" would meet up to train and or to visit, my good guess B Lee did stay at Greglon''s house. I had a long talk with Robett Baker. Believe it or not, he told me Bruce was REJECTED by the U.S. military caz he had bad vision & a bad back. UNBELIEVABLE , but true! Bob Baker invited me to a simple dinner . He was a very strieght talker like Greglon.

    Holy Lord, Ur a little step ahead of me.. I never knew Robert Baker would be on Google''s list! He is in Greglon;s book. It has been said that Robert "Bob"" Baker did not mind sparring with some tournament champs. Yes, there are some stories he told me when Bruce Lee was challenged
    and other things. Best i keep to myself. I am not one to start fights or to make rumors spread out
    in the wrong hands. Thx, be cool!

      Jim Kelly made the same remarks but in regards to Bruce sparring other top martial artists. Would love to know and confirm the names.

    Yes, Bruce and Linda stayed at James Lee's house. I'm just not sure it was for 2 years. Maybe they had another stay later on. It's possible.
    Too bad Bob Baker is no longer with us. I'm sure he had a lot of stories.

    Maybe that was what Greglon was refering to that Bruce would stay @ James "Jimmy" Lee''s house ( OFF & ON.) These were the REAL pioneers with B. Lee: Dan Inosantos, James Demelle, Ted Wong, James Coborn & Steve Mcqueen ( both actors ) & Ted Tanaka / a FEW more. Yes, Bob Baker did train W/Bruce as he told me 4 about 5 yrs. Mike Stone karake champ did workout W/ Lee, B. & Joe lewis, Chuck Norris too. Baker had a son & daughter If i can recall. Thx much!

      James Coburn and Steve McQueen were private students. Ask Tom Bleecker who knew them both and knew Bruce and Linda before, Bruce did the Green Hornet. Bruce was a kinetic genius according to Amy Sanbo who was Bruce's girlfriend before he met Linda.

    I don't think Bruce and Linda stayed with James Lee for two years as Greglon said. From everything I've read, Bruce and Linda moved in late August 1964 and moved out in May 1965 (they went to Hong Kong to stay with Bruce's family after Bruce's father died).

    @ Joe smith, How did U know Robert "Bob" Baker died.? I never mentioned it. I assume U have other sources about Lee's friends and associates. In the 60 s , Bruce had private and another school in Haymont area ( Hayward , Ca.)
    MMMMMmmmm, i do not think ur Joe Smith.. It is just an alias name? My best to U anyway!

    Linda Lee was around my area abt 2 months ago. I really wanted to interview her! I missed out. I know the real reason why Bob Baker died. I just do not want his family attacking me. Best they say something. I really believe B Lee was murdered like others and a well known sifu argeed. The Chinese have a "death touch" -& they are good W/ other tactics. Baker had a big poster of B Lee in his living room & while taking to me he would do sets of exercises. Some things i rather not say.

    Dear Sir: I went to Jimmy (James Lee''s house) about 3 times. There is plenty of evidence that Jimmy & Bruce were close friends - i saw things with my own eyes. No, i never met Bruce. I met Robert "Bob" Baker who stared as the Russian in the movie W/ B.Lee (the Chinese Connection.) His garage was full of training eqp like James Lee had. At both houses, Bob and Iimmy did their demos. Greglon def KNEW B.Lee well! Greglon is a very CANDID person. Sorry U disbelieve. take care.

    Of course he only ever saw Bruce do Demo's. A handful of people saw the only known fight Bruce had with Wong Jack Man.

    For all the Fools who, for some twisted reason, think they must belittle
    the "Dragon," just because he has been gone so long---and because he
    didn't go around filming his Fighting, or, Sparring matches----Try using
    your heads a bit more efficiently. Bruce didn't develop these skills to
    play Ping Pong----or, tennis, or, badminton, or, checkers! Everything he
    did, and TRAINED for, was geared toward the Art of Combat. Therefore,
    it matters NOT that he didn't record those Matches; In fact, when you
    really THINK about it, he showed Great respect by NOT doing so!
    I'll let YOU figure that out.

    Wing chun is more then wooden dummy and chi sao drills lol, without wing chun there would be no JKD

    • @fn4409
      @fn4409 6 років тому +2

      No without Bruce Lee there would be no JKD. The only thing Bruce Lee took of any real value from wing chun is Chisao and finger jabbing. JKD is far more than that. Not even close

    • @cuzz63
      @cuzz63 6 років тому +1

      Both are correct, had Bruce not been training in WC and realizes its limitations after he got in a real fight he might never have created JKD.

    @123698lol Do not worry anymore - i blocked you out... Birds of the same feather fly together - your just in space somewhere. I just do not waste my time on people who cannot apprecitate life or REALISTIC values. You are on UA-cam - but i ve seen nothing interesting on your site but kids stuff! Good luck! You will see things different when you grow up- like Donny Osman - it took him time. BYEEEEE!
