Atrial fibrillation is a frustrating condition for the patient, and the treatment is less than ideal. With all the research put into heart disease, at least we know what we don't know. First thing to look for is the irregularly-irregular pulse, then the p-wave absence

How does afib differ from a-flutter? I had presented in the ER with a-flutter but converted to afib.
Similar but a flutter is more unstable and will often revert back to sinus or afib.
