Hi George. Another great video and another opportunity to see Sir Lancelot. I love that aircraft! I'd hoped to meet with you at Solent for flying lessons well before now but some work and life has got in the way quite badly. I was actually calling your slightly floaty landing as it happened while watching the vid even though I've never landed myself. Your point about higher speed because of x-wind is a great info point, though, so thank you for that. One bit of advice, if you can: I have been struggling to find a Dr to do my medical. One was too busy, referred me to a guy in Aldershot. Another I tried doesn't do it anymore. As I'm getting on a bit I don't really want to spend on flight training without knowing I'm allowed to do it. Any suggestions? So many of the ones local to Solent have 'NATS STAFF ONLY' on their profiles.

There does seem to be a shortage of suitable doctors at the moment, and I don’t know why the NATS ones are listed?! I think there is a Dr that offers appointments at Popham and Thruxton from time to time (meridianmedical.uk/), if not, it may be a visit to LHR or LGW (there’s a few companies that offer medicals full time). Hopefully you manage to get one sorted and maybe see you around soon! 😃🛫
