Fits like a glove!
You could save time by putting the dress on inside out, make the markings as done on the outside, then do all the sewing by machine. That would save the time spent basting.

These darts were common in cloths & you will still find it in high end tailored garments. Only cheap clothes they don’t do it.

Yeats aho all dresses had dart seams in the front. That changed in 2000 because the Chinese fid not sew dart.
Loved this tutorial. I’m going to practice sewing darts like that.
@@marynafalck5502 Not talking about darts in the front, but rather sewing any dart on the right side of the fabric instead of inside the garment.

Sugestão….Em vez de alinhavar à mão, passa um alinhavo à máquina em apenas um lado da pence e vire pelo avesso e feche as pentes acompanhando a costura feita anteriormente. 😊

Do it the way she did and STOP after the threads are pulled together before she sewed. Be sure to tie off both ends!

Is this fabric of this dress have stretch? Else, it will be very challenging to wear it since it doesn’t have buttons or zipper.

А в бёдрах? Объем не изменился. А ширина плеч? Осталась такой же. Силуэт поменялся, платье было прямым, стало приталеным.

I NEVER NEED TO DOWN SIZE waist, hip area.....how about how to INCREASE SIZE THERE?
Always best to buy clothes and sewing patterns to fit your bust measurement, then fit from there. Adding fabric to the bust area is more complicated, and in patterned clothes tends to look a mess. There are videos on other channels though.

I would just use a belt. I am an hourglass shape so I have a collection of belts from charity shops and various places.
