Is it just me or am I overthinking but Slime’s reactions give me the vibes that they used to know each other not just slime watching him but actually interacting and becoming friends. HI! I don't really make videos anymore but i wanted to answer your question! Bascially, Tommy and Karl are both from the void. They were created there, and Karl stayed there longer than tommy, thus the purple markings "Void burns". Tommy was rescued fairly quickly by Mumza, and given to Phil, whereas Karl didn't get rescued for a long time, and when he did it was by XD. Tommy recognized the void burns and obviously knew where he came from, since he has ones similar :)
