Some of those 'bits' look sensible. Not sure about the suspension, carburetion and silencers, but the seat and rack look nice and the footpegs/bar accessories look like a good idea. I don't know why he talks about the bike as an 'investment'. New bikes go down in value, not up, especially after they've been pirouetting down the road on their side. Anyway, well done Derek. If anyone here replaces their 'bits' I hope you'll keep the originals so that the next owner can put them back on. 😊
I like the way you deploy your wit. Yes, he does employ some irksome sales patter that could just as easily be used to sell a caravan. Not sure why I chose the caravan analogy, but it seemed appropriate.
😜😎🧐
Peace
I just received a 16T sprocket for himalayan here in Brazil today from you guys! Cheers
I am glad you have the adjustable footrests.
Got the adjustable levers from ya'll, they are a class apart, great build and quality.
Excellent, good to hear
HitchcocksMcs on your site, I see stainless steel and alloy mudguards separately for the front and rear. For the INT650. I think the ones on your video will go well with my chrome tank. Can you please tell me which one’s were used? I don’t see aluminum as an option online.
Love AH and all at Hitchcock's they have it all for a century + worth of models
The '4-stage foot rest' could have been explained in a little more detail -- e.g., what those 4 stages are, how they help the rider with foot positioning, etc.
Please put a video on touring footrest
One of the best I have seen
Seat looks awesome!!!
I like the black and red. Nice
Would love to know how the footpeg arrangement works for someone of 5'6".
I'm 5ft8in with 29in inside leg and it's more than fine for me, the pegs slightly interfere with walking while sat on it but that's more due to the location of the pegs. It doesn't bother me
The chrome fenders and new pipes are beautiful! That seat and the glossy fork gaitors are a little tacky looking, though...IMO.
Nice upgrade
Very nice, let me know the price
I fancy the screen
"They are great Visually, And they will help protect your Investment..." lol
Wonder if he is talking about the Investment connected to the rider
My footpeg spring broke, all the search engines 'no results found' or springs for other makes but not interceptor, might be a long wait for part under warranty
Hi, the riders foot peg spring can be seen on the following link: accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/39935
Hi Hitchcocks.. I am thinking of buying an Enfield Interceptor and love the modifications in your video. I live in Manchester and don’t know the system for getting these mods. Do I buy a bike and then bring it to yourselves, get my dealer to do the mods when I am ready using your parts, or do I have to buy the bike directly from you. Also if I buy on a PCP scheme can I still make the modifications..?
Hi Paul, we supply the parts and accessories only, for then either yourself or a dealer to fit to your bike. With the PCP scheme, I expect this will be listed in the small print on whether or not modifications are allowed for the duration of the contract, this may vary depending on who the PCP contract is with.
What model is the green bike just out of shot? I Love the colour
It's the cousin brother of Interceptor 650. Model Name is Continental GT 650. Both bikes share the same engine and chassis. The only difference is that Conti is shaped like an Old school Cafe Racer.
Looks like the 750cc Rickman Interceptor from the early 1970's, uses the Royal Enfield Mk2 Interceptor engine in a Rickman chassis. Rare bikes with only a few hundred ever produced.
This is a 750cc Rickman Interceptor from the early 1970's, not many of them around
@@HitchcocksMotorcycles Wow. My bad. It looks so similar to the RE Continental GT 650.
yes please to the cargo/dog box rack for me GT
When i check for the exhaust i have one coast 82 pounds annd another one coast 340 pounds. Which one showed in this video
Hello, the silencers fitted in the video are our 91161 Slash Cut style, these are expected back into stock in October: accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/40584?ref_page=Interceptor%20650
Hello Sir, do you have the option of shipping the accessories to India? If yes, how difficult will it be to fit the accessories in India. Kindly clarify. Thanks in advance.
Hi, yes we ship to India on a daily basis, the fitment will depend on the part being fitted, but generally all the upgrades shown on this video are straight forward to fit.
hey are you any planing for new 650 gt or interceptor cafe racer faring ?
Hello, we are planning to offer a cafe racer style fairing similiar to the 535 GT type which we already offer. At the moment, we are still some time off from having a kit available.
Hey I'm in the USA, I was wondering if y'all ship out here?
Hi, yes shipping to the USA is no problem. You can submit an order online, give us a call or send an e-mail directly.
Hi Sir there is option to delivery Accessories to orther country like UAE?
Yes, shipping worldwide including the UAE
What is that green bike behind him?!?!
This is a 750cc Rickman Interceptor from the early 1970's, not many of them around
Please drop the annoying music. We want to HEAR YOU. Tell those with ADD to go elsewhere.
Sir is gt 650 touring seat fitted in interceptor 650
Yes, these are interchangeable all though not what we have fitted to our bike in this video
the seat is a NO NO!!!
It looks dreadful.
No need to get so worked up lads. The nice bloke is just showing you parts you can buy. Get a proper seat to your liking.
Ummm the fork gaiters look like something from Ann Summers
I'm debating whether to buy the GT or the Interceptor. While I like the GT looks better, the position will cause me too much discomfort. Is there a bar conversion for the GT that will make it more comfortable, closer to the Interceptor position while keeping much of the GT looks? Sounds ridiculous, I know but the GT is a sexy looking bike
size queen try search “gt 650 bar riser kit”
What is that green bike behind you, if I may ask please?
Hello, the green bike behind is what is known as a Rickman Interceptor and is from 1971/72.
✌
Wow
Hmmmm, dont like those fork gaiters much. Tho I suspect The Gimp would....
Oh, I forgot to mention that I’ll be a customer when you include kehin flat slide carbs, gas flowing service, hot cams and high compression pistons... Any 650 should be pushing out way more power than this one.
The seat looks like it has a tumor.
Indians.and.the world.r.Waiting dor a harley to launch its middleweight at re price
Ribbed seat is too high at the back-too much of a step up especially if you're carrying a pillion. The factory touring dual seat is better as not as high at the back & I think it looks better. Yours has too much of a step to it. Screen looks superb as it's a good size to offer a better level of protection without looking too big. Hugely disappointing that they don't have a led day running lamp so that you just run your normal Halogen bulb when riding at night. In this way because the Halogen is only being used at night you can change out the standard bulb for a H4 plus 100 % to get better lighting performance. Obviously this means half the life however if your only using the headlight at night then it doesn't matter. The rest of the mods look good & make some sense although I would probably be least likely to change the footrests.
Again
a sheep in wolf's clothing...
What's so sheepish about it? And what is like a wolf? It's a genuine bike...
Spend money to make my bike look shit ??????
Overall waste of time and money
Windscreen is too low to protect from insect swarms
Then move to Blighty no swarms here.
sure great mods but let's not lose sight that the bike coming out of the show room is great value for the money ,that is part of its charm and appeal
wish I knew what you said but the loud drums and horns in the sound track just wipes what you said out .. why who did this why ,???? .. get your $$ back and fire them
And behind him is a Rare Royal Rickman Enfield. I used to own one of these 125 or so commissioned by the last owners of the British Royal Enfield (Bronze Bushings Co.?). They had inherited 125 -136 motors left over from the original company after it had gone bankrupt. They had heard the Rickman Brothers had made a one off large chrome moly frame for a motorcycle show for this engine. They commissioned the frames for the remaining engines and sold them through only ONE dealership in England. I was a member of the Rickman Enfield Registry located in Switzerland. Mine was orange as most were. Some were red and a few were blue and a few green. All were fiberglass. Mine was all original except the rear tire which was a Japanese copy of the original which matched the front. It went to a collector in Rhode Island.
I love that engine Guard. Might have to purchase it for my GT650.
Nice work, has transformed the bike.
I'll take the green one in the background please 👍
Is there a video on how the footrest modification works?
By far the most needed accessory for the Interceptor is alloy wheels to run tubeless tires! GET ON IT!
Excellent point. I don’t want to be cleaning wire wheels.
@The Stig's English cousin To me, the "look of the bike" is "If you ever get a flat you will crawl around in the dirt for two hours to swap out a tube, numbnuts".
@@jimkubitza3820 I would buy the bike if it ran tubeless tyres,
@@jimkubitza3820 If it takes you two hours to change an inner tube it's you who's the numbnuts.
@@jimkubitza3820 doesn't take two hours to change the tube.
What happened to the saddle bags? Give me a break! Where am I to put my wallet and suitcase?
Good stuff. I tricked out my 535 Continental GT with your after market equipment and was very pleased. The 650 Interceptor will be my next purchase, so expect more business from me.
Are these accessories available in India.
Yes, we ship worldwide including India
Now if only you could come up with a larger frame so that a 6'4" rider could actually fit on the bike. Actually it would be even better if you could do the same for the Himalayan....
We offer a taller seat and handlebar risers for the 650's, but unfortunately no different frames! For the Himalayan, we offer handlebar risers and are currently working on a setup which will raise the rear of the bike. The next video will go into a little more detail on this
What a great accessories
I am planning to buy the windscreen. How functional is it at speeds of 100-120 kmph? I have the tall RE windscreen, it is pretty useless at those speeds.
The exhaust was much better before. The only thing that l would love on this bike are LED headlights. That would definitely enhance the touring experience. And a good seat. The one shown here is really bad for the pillion rider. Flat was fine as long as the cushion was thicker and a bit firmer. Rest everything was fine in the video. (Including shocks and luggage rack etc.)
The only thing bad is the exhaust note... It's way too loud & obnoxious. (The original exhaust is nice, deep and true sounding)
Hi, nice accesories. I want to know how much ground clearance is increased by installing the longer suspensions(380mm ones)
Can you let me design silencers for your company
Ugly mods, indian vendors do some great mods, practical and Asthetics
There's no need for background music unless you believe copying American fashion enhances your presentation. Let me tell you, it doesn't.
That’s one ugly seat honestly, otherwise a great bike and cool accessories.
Plenty of music vids on UA-cam. Don't need it on yours. Just a horrible noise distracting from your speaking.
You made it to solid looking bike
Beautiful machine, what is the total cost of the motorcycle in that configuration?
Yes mr & mrs , be nice to find out ❓🇬🇧🍺ps how’s the bobber coming along 🙈
@@markieell5614 Be patient my child :D
Thanks for the comments, this particular bike has got a large number of our accessories and upgrades, with some of the development parts not yet listed. We don't list complete kits for the bikes as certain parts have different prices depending on options, and this allows customers to be able to choose their individual setup. All the parts listed can be seen if you check out the link below: accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/information-and-services/Royal-Enfield-Interceptor-650-Accessories
@@HitchcocksMotorcycles Many thanks :)
It would be great if Hitchcocks set up a distribution centre in a major city in Australia. Failing that , catalogues at Australian dealers with Australian prices. Exhausts look and sound great, same slash cuts Norton had.
Hitchcock should offer stage kits like Harley-Davidson
Thanks for the comments
What a great video and what an amazing selection of parts - has to be the best in the World I reckon...
Guess its the fastest selling bike in the west right now
Class leading ???? 47 HP. Single disc. Neat retro but exactly what class is it leading ?
The 8 K class that's what it will cost.
only thing it needs is a sump guard/bash plate
I'm a dwarf. Standing 3ft9' will I be able to ride it??
Everytime a brit says "Al-you-minium" I chuckle. We colonists call it "Uh-loo-min-um"....lol.
Say it how it's spelt bruv.
Love the bike, but if you bought everything it would be a 8k bike.
That exhaust is to die for
Which screen is this? The puig one?
Cool stuff. Can we get in the states?
Waw its so beautiful
Superb
Why did you add that hideous annoying musac? When are people going to learn that it’s NOT NECESSARY AND NOT CLEVER.
But if that’s too difficult to figure out, ask yourself if you would encourage people to fit free parts they found lying about the yard - to their nice shiny new bikes?
No, of course you wouldn’t. So why add shitty generic royalty free musac you found lying about on the net - to your advertising vid?
It’s not rocket science.
I’m available for after dinner speeches and inspirational seminars, as well as group therapy sessions for anyone traumatised by the background noise on this or any other vid.
Peace
Very nice. I'm not into all the extras myself My tank pads kept curling away from the front of the tank so I ran some sealant around them, and it worked. Doesn't look too crash hot though . My pads are on, not to protect my investment, but to stop me from sliding up the tank when braking. i have the larger crash bars with an extra bit added on each side. It's to make it easier for me to pick my bike up if I drop it when alone I wouldn't mind a more comfortable saddle. On a recent ride of 340km with one stretch of 128 km at 100kmph all the way. ( not one side road or an intersection,! I was fidgeting a lot at the end. I have what is jokingly called the larger, fly screen and would like something larger. When you are doing 110 kmph and a road train or b double is passing you from the opposite way at the same speed with only a white line between you both, it's like chesting a brick wall. I have black tape on my handlebars and stay to stop the sun from reflexing up into my eyes. I don't know if you would call it an upgrade but I'm getting the engine cases and tappet cover powder-coated black. A dealer 450 km away does an exchange swap plus $ 300 cash and labor costs, also I have to book in to stay overnight somewhere so they have a cold engine the next day. We don't get much rain here .My bike lives outside and it seems the slightest bit dried on the cases(rain or condensation ) causes surface corrosion which is hard to come off even with more than a few goes with metal polish. As you can guess I'm not a person who has to have a gleaming bike.:))
Is custom painted tanks available? Imagine the Orange crush model with chrome tank sides and rubber pads.. light gold or white stripe between the chrome and paintwork.. maybe the name logo from the Baker express or a custom one and matching paint side covers to go with. Several other colors would look good too, eg light blue, silver or black.. you get the drift? This could easily be done by starting out with the Glitter and dust chrome tank and painting a wider stripe on the middle, with various available colours. Just a proposal. :)
Stainless steel muguards would be good
IMHO - Polished alloy is lighter, does not rust, is easy to clean and polish and harks back to what we used back in the sixties.
@@brockett i'm not with you on that aluminium, or ally (alloy is a missed used term from aluminium alloy meaning a mixture of metals inc aluminium, stainless is an alloy) does corrode and needs care to preserve it like it needs polushing etc. Stainless can be made from thinner meterial for the same strength. In 20 years time would looke exactly the same, ally would definately not. To me it is a no brainer!
Have you seen the price of Stainless?, it would cripple you.@@paulmessenger1006
@@richardallan455 j am sorry for you if you find £66 for a mudguard is unaffordable.
www.classicbikeshop.co.uk/stainless-steel-front-mudguard.html
@@paulmessenger1006 To put it into context the price- grade dependant, can be prohibitive. I work with the material and have a little insight, thanks .
Why the annoying music? Adds nothing to the video. Otherwise really interesting. Am very tempted to buy this bike.
There is any way to make single exhaust system? I want to reduce weight make some modes / idea video for that please
get rid the bloody background so called music shit so we can hear just what you are saying. FFS !! Jesus Christ ! it drives me crazy..
calm down
Thanks for the feedback
Seafs don't look ergonomic
Do the silencer improve the performance of the bike ?
Yes with correct free flow air filter and correct tuning.
Yes, the silencers help with the performance, the other benefits are a huge weight saving, narrower rear end and of course, a great sounding exhaust note
So beautiful ... This is how it should be launched by royal Enfield
Would like a big fat comfy seat, standard ones aren't so good
I do love those mudguards. A lot cheaper then baak ones
Hi I'm looking forward to buy a Royal Enfield bike
In my list I have interspector 650 and Gt 650 but I was confused 😕 which one to choose
Can you give a suggestion on this topic?
It will be a personal preference, best thing to do is get down to your local dealer and see which you find more comfortable.
What a new look what a lovely bike I love royal enfield 650 👌
is the fly screen a Puig.
Good to see your on my wave length
Greats products, will you ship to India?
Yes, we ship to India
Exhaust note 👎
What mirrors are those? Technically a Ravishing Red should have black mirrors.
Well spotted, these are just the original mirrors in a chrome finish
@@HitchcocksMotorcycles I only say because they are random variations with another RR from my dealer with Chrome Mirrors.
adv tyres surely!
