Sorry to bother, but looks like you know your stuff about yamaha. I have 08 fxho rod blew thru block , now I'm stuck with a 4k ski. Do you know of if a fx140 block would work. I have no luck finding motor reasonable price. Thanks in advance

It will not plug and play. You will need the fx140 ECM computer, and possibly the gauge cluster (maybe not the cluster). The fx140 pistons are smaller and rods are different. You will also need the fx140 wiring harness. Here is a great writeup on how to convert a VX110 to an FXHO as well as what parts are different on each. www.pwctoday.com/forum/technical-discussion/yamaha/yamaha-4-stroke/247768-vx-vs-fx-block?t=438042

If your head is still good, you can Google how to convert a VX110 to an FXHO though. There is a tiny mod for a footing that connects the FXHO exhaust to the FXHO block (the location is already mapped out for you on the VX casting so it's nothing but drilling a hole and taking some threads fairly easy. You also need to either change out the 90 degree stainless bent water pipe on the side of the vx block to make a straight one like the FXHO has on the side. You could probably just cut the vx 90 degree part off and flair the fresh cut end easier with a basic flairing tool. You also need to install your FXHO flywheel on the vx110 crank shaft or it won't start
