INDIRECT and OFFSET are volatile function. To avoid them we can try =SUM(--MID(B5,SEQUENCE(LEN(B5)),1)) thous it is applicable for Office 365

In Excel 365 you also have the option =SUMPRODUCT(--MID(B3,SEQUENCE(1,LEN(B3)),1))
Haan sequence office 365 me h but maximum log use nhi karte h haij thats why i make video for the same.Very good👍👍
U dont need to specify sequence to start from "1", either. it will do just fine with Sequence(Len(B3)) also.. in fact u dont need to use sumproduct altogether. it can be done simply by SUM function as well. =SUM(1*MID(B3,SEQUENCE(LEN(B3)),1)). there are lots of other ways to do it as well.
How to get a single digit number by using the above formula. Instead of 15 can we get 6 has answer.

@@Innozant A1 ke sthaan par A3 Daalte hai to value error aata hai, a1 dalne par sahi rahta hai par a3 daalte hi error hi aata hai maine 4 - 5 baar try kiya.

Hi sir,
Can't we use column instead of row ?I tried to use 'column' in place of row. It didn't work. I evaluated and found that it is showing all column number (16384). Although it is showing column range (1-5) same as showing in case of row but we have correct out put with row and error with column.
Kindly help me understand this.
Good questn. But using column will return a array that will be too big and produce a spill error. hence we are using rows
