Fun to see another Vader build to show my dad (he plays Galactic Empire and I play rebels), just got this game last Easter and it has been one of my favorite gaming experiences
Just picked up Vader. Excited to start building around him. Got X-wing for Christmas this year and it's my favorite game now! Thanks for your videos they have definitely helping me!
I watched lots of matches and also the finals of X-Wing 2.0 World Championship. It was awesome to see so many different lists, so many potential builds that could win. Your list have the same problem of the other similar builds. The Lambda is an easy target to be destroyed for the points, so you will have mostly Darth Vader to rely. Pure Sabacc I think it can't do much for its own, not sure how well Snapshot can work for him.
Nice build! I am back into xwing after a Year, i forgot how much fun this game is! I will definitely try your list in The future, right now I'm rolling a dual Decimator with Vader as crew that's AN absolute joy to play
Dope list! Been working on a First Order list using multiple Tie SF. I've been experimenting with Backdraft and an Omega Specialist at 100pts and then beefing up to 200 with a tie silencer and either another SF or two cheap tie FOs.
Is spending an eye a modification though? And even if not it still works during his regular attack - freeing up his action for repositioning and giving him the best use of his larger dice pool.
@@Crabbok Add a Result, Reroll, Change and Spend a result is Dice Modification. And sure can you use it in the regular attack. I love Krennic in Combo with Seyn Marana on a TIE/ln. Spending Eyeball or hit for Prototype and then spend the Crit for a Damage Card , nearly no defense possible.
nope foresight isnt worth it on vader, it doesnt synergize with adv targeting or FCS and if you want to spend it to get an extra attack youre further limiting vader to perform actions. if you want to put a force power on vader put sense on him. grand inq is a waste of points. you need a bid if you're gonna run an ace. Not bidding is setting yourself up to lose

I feel like second edition is getting even better about the meta and making the game feel more immersive thematically.

Usually I only know this level of synergy from my Rebel lists but it´s great to see someone try it for the Imperials.

Love the list. I’m also someone who mainly uses republic, but I’m definitely interested in trying out imperials.

Haven't got the alpha class gunboats either.

Your Idea with Krennic and Snap-Sabacc has only one big error, you can not spent (modifing dice) an eye-result for optimized prototype

I had to go look it up but yes, your'e right spending is indeed a modification. Still I think it works a bit as it can help his primary.
Finished my midterms just now and was rewarded with this. Gonna try out this build later!

But with no inititative bid - if I end up going last, then foresight DOES work with vader - right?
@@Crabbok I mean it has a better chance at triggering on I6s but its still pretty bad for 4 points
Yeah maybe so - after a few games I may adjust it but that's all part of improving builds over time!
