The hybrid bell sounds very healthy. It’s really sad that they’re nowhere near as common as they used to be. I remember when they were everywhere in Victoria like nearly 20 years ago, now they are increasingly rare due to either being replaced by e-bells or the mass number of grade separations in Melbourne.
@@TrickyMario7654 It’s not just hybrids but pretty much every kind of mechanical bell is now rare in Victoria, certainly contributes to killing off any sort of variety
@@McKHAust I know. Things like mechanical bells and Comengs are now being killed off without second thought, which is just disgusting. They recently took delivery of the first X’trap 2.0 set they ordered, so expect Comengs to be extinct from regular service in a few years time. :(

@@McKHAust Even here in NSW. Both M-Bells at wingello station have been replaced by ST3s. Even the hybrid :,(
