- Bronny James&Sierra Canyon had their revenge game circled for weeks now! Harvard Westlake has had the tall task of taking on Corona Centennial and Sierra Canyon twice in 3 short weeks. This time it was a legendary night in Studio City. Sierra Canyon hasn't had a road playoff game since 2017 and 2022 was something special. I think when it comes to Bronny James we need to redirect our expectations. The strengths of his game are defense, hustle, great hands, shooting and athleticism. I love his attitude and his understanding of the game. I like that he uses his athleticism on the defensive end not just trying to dunk on everybody. If he continues to work and develop there is a place for him in the NBA. Just my humble opinion.

If his dad wasn’t LeBron, at this point no one would expect him to ever be in the NBA. He’s 44th in his grade. Every year only 60 players get drafted grade 13-17 plus all international players. He will be given opportunities he is undeserving of over someone who is better than him. That’s the reality of this situation.

I was really hoping by this point in his high school career, that Bronny would be more assertive offensively and be able to create shots for himself and other teammates. Not talking about this game, cause he’s coming off of injury, but it seems like against real competition, he’s just a role player offensively and can only catch and shoot. Hopefully we see some more offensive assertion this coming aau season leading into his senior year.
