Definetly, I follow some of the devs and 99% of them regularly drive on track, one responsible for backend and car's handling often participate in drift events in a local track near my town with his s13. When devs are so passionate we don't have to even worry, they know what we like (because they like it too) and will give it to us sooner or later

Like many people you seem to miss the 1.1 lock ratio on the steering wheel. This feature is not implemented in the game yet. Each car has a different wheel lock and you have to match that in the game and in your wheel software. There is a post on reddit with all steering degrees for each car in case you can´t figure that out. GR86 uses 810º
@@St0rm1388 No. It doesn't work that way. If you pay atention to the wheel rotation you will see that using only soft lock in simpro manager doesn't match the steering in game, have Alpa mini btw. You have to manualy set up in game and in wheel software unfourtunately.
@@carlosrey1331 this is exactly how it work, maybe i didn't explain it very well, but in Assetto Corsa you set Angle to 1080 then in SimPro Manager you put the Angle slider at 1080, and also in SimPro Manager you have the "Hard Lock Angle" slider, this is the only setting you need to update to match each car rotation, should be 800° for the BRZ

Since i happen to fix a problem of mine with having the ingame wheel rotation at 1080 degree and 900 degree on my wheelbase software. That cause the wheel turning more ingame than i did with my wheel. Also, i experience a wierd deadzone when turning wheel. Don't know what that is, but at a certain point you can feel the wheel loosing ffb and you see both wheel ingame and indicator of wheel rotation stop when you loose ffb. the indicator of wheel rotation is located in the top of the speedometer/rpm gauge.
AC EVO is gonna be big when it's already mod supported, I heard they will add some freeroam mode just imagine if it's already mod supported we could get the entire city area around Shutoko Revival mods
Fact alot of people complaining just shows their ignorance, yes there's bugs glitches etc ITS EARLY BETA if anything the devs are doing it correct allowing select consumers to play test and review the game that way they can fix change whatever needs to be done before releasing the full game atleast the devs are caring about what the consumer is saying

Slap, I noticed you were on DLAA and that really didn’t help my frames. Change that setting to Quality, Balanced, or Performance and it should lead to less lag spikes when racing against multiple AI cars.
his upscaling mode is set to NONE. DLAA is not being used. you can see it is greyed out. turning upscaling on and setting it to at least quality DLSS is still good advice tho.
Haven't bought it yet, gonna wait until they drop the freroam map. But im curious on how it drives as of now, does it feel like AC1 alot? what game would you say it's comparable too physics wise so far?
Heck yeah, getting the hang of it eh?! And this is with limited tuning settings, imagine when we can do all of it, as well as upgrade parts! I've been really enjoying what the game offers so far. There is so much potential here.
I've 30-40fps on VR with LOW settings and solid 30fps with HIGH settings with rain 😅 also the bluetooth-razer headset will be on/off jumping through usb for some reason. This OpenXR ain't really good for this beginning version of the EVO yet. Even with 4060Ti 😓
The performance issue seems to be inconsistent, I have tested the graphics settings and on ultra preset I get around 60ish fps but I tuned my settings and get around 100fps. Im rocking a 7700XT which is a good GPU but its not absurdly overpowered. Its almost as if the game randomly decides it wants to run at 30 fps when I load onto a track
@ Not sure if you know this but drifting and racing are not the same, the dynamics of what the rear is doing is different, as the car slides it doesn't roll onto the tyre like a race car, it's more static, more camber literally means the tyre will have less contact patch, that is why if you look at pro drift cars they have zero camber in the rear.
drift cars run little to zero camber in the rear for better tyre wear and better forward bite. In the corner more camber usually means more sideways grip because the tyre deforms with the lateral force, even when drifting. When spinning tyres hard there always the dynamics of the chassis to consider (squat / anti squat etc) There are too many over simplifications in the video and in your comment "more camber is less grip" because wheel alignment is always a compromise. To iniate a drift and to actually drift trough the corner and to drive around the racetrack fast are all slightly different things. Easier to drift does not always mean less grip, it often means more grip. I might have understood something wrong what he ment about easier to drift, but I understand something about track cars and drift cars as I have done both in real life as a hobby and a few of my friends race both in track racing and in drifting. My first reply to you was being a little sarcastic, but that might have not come trough very well. I see you know what you are talking about, but the first comment about more camber meaning less grip just is not an universal truth.
Fps have little to do with vsync, the game was super rough on day 1 and they somehow fixed things quietly a day later already. I didn’t change a thing and got double the fps
lol phycis are very similar to old asseetto , problem is 90% of time u drifted on mod track that wasnt made by kunos assetto , and u was driving mod car that wasnt made by kunos assetto :D

Honestly NO GAME can match gran turismo 4 hand animations trust me, that game doesnt even have first person view but seeing it up close they are one of the best.
The choppyness you are feeling SLAP is the AI cars. You have too many on. Cut it down to 5-6 cars. Ive also been testing drifting myself as well. It feels like the physics simulations error our after a certain angle. If you keep the angle shallow it works fine but anything more it just spins. I have a feeling that they will add a drift car with different physics just like the original AC.
Such a stupid thing to comment. AC evo has no similarities to Forza. People call it a simcade because it has a career/license mode, which is equally stupid. AC evo imo has one of the best street car ffb and physics on the market.

This is not an early access release, it is a DEMO. These developers are releasing earlier and earlier just to get that money. It won’t be long before an early access will be a message saying “coming soon.” I will shelve it and check back in six months.

Keep it at 1080 in both game and base driver, you only have to change the soft lock setting in base driver, much easier on my simagic

I found if I turned motion blur right off and set the mirrors to the lowest setting it increased performance quite a lot. Especially in VR.

if it gets worse the longer you play then it might be a memory leak issue carx street had the same issue at launch

you have to turn off tc and tc is at 1 you have to decrease it

I feel like its way too easy to regain traction. The cars handle well, but i think part of that is because they are a bit unrealistic
