I was okay watching the recovery of the tree truck. During the recovery of the woodchipper I was so tense and on edge that I was forgetting to breathe. Everything Auto, congratulations on a safe and masterful recovery of that tree truck and woodchipper. I sure hope Blackie didn't suffer any strains or injuries.

I think this is one of your recovery that made me scared for your safety. I have 35 years in dealing with this kind of equipment. I was so glad things worked out for you all. That chipper is 8 to 10 thousand pounds. they are no joke. Great job, you all did.

Awesome job with the wood chipper! Also, the dramatic music is a classic touch! There's no drama with Jeff and Kristen when it comes to this stuff. Jeff scopes out the situation, makes a plan, and then executes that plan very well. No drama needed...........but nice touch! 🙂

Had a car wrecked (ended up totaled) , I asked the tow truck to drop it at my house a few miles away from the crash instead of his yard which was over 20 miles away the wrong direction in another county. He wanted payment on the drop which was not a problem, and he was still hesitant to do it because he was afraid that it would be tight to get in and drop. I convinced him he had plenty of room to turn and drop as my drive is wide enough for large farm equipment and semi trucks. I totally understand your situation with not getting paid in a timely manor. Nice work on the chipper.

I have run my own business for 35 years. Many years ago, I learned not to extend credit to anybody. First mistake was when I did some work for a client of my stepfather, who was a lawyer. I never got paid for that job. Second time was when I consulted with a group of nuns who develop affordable housing. I eventually got paid, but it took about 6 months of nagging and begging. You might expect nuns to operate with honesty and integrity, but you would be wrong! Since those early mistakes, everybody pays a retainer upfront. If they balk, then I know I made the correct move.

    • @foxglovepearls
