Dream was easily The most-skilled Big you ever play. I actually knew nothing about him until he played college ball at Houston, then he got drafted to play in Houston with my fellow Virginian, Ralph Sampson, and he just kept getting better and better and better until he was the MJ of Big Man basketball on the biggest stage while MJ was shredding the league. I'm just sorry I've never had a chance to shake the man's hand and tell him how awesome he was. Shaq was actually a throwback to Wilt-style basketball, but Dream was Jordan's equal at the Center position, without question. These young guys play in a euro-soft league. You had to be a whole man to survive in the 80's and 90's. Anyone today who isn't familiar with Hakeem Olajuwan isn't into basketball.
