Sistem filter ini tidak bisa membersihkan endapan di dasar kolam, pembusukan endapan yang terjebak di kerikil bawah dek juga bisa menimbulkan penyakit.

Ini kek nya sistem filter permanen gak bisa maintenance. Kotoran akan mengendap di bawah batuan dasa kolam, gas amoniak yg tercampur di air dihisap pompa melewati filter bawah deck kayu itu yg dipatenkan. Mungkin dalam jangka panjang, dasar kolam berbatu akan jenuh oleh tumpukan kotoran yg berubah jadi lumpur. Paling kuras kolam beberapa tahun kemudian, mungkin ya. Karena gak begitu jelas

It’s the new aquascaping way to do, the water gets sucked to the biological filter, rocks in the crates and some plants, it like a wetland filter without all the plants, most people put plants in the board walk area to ingest the nutrients. It’s usually in reverse, as he has the water being sucked down through the rocks that will be covered in bacteria to break down the waste then sucked to the snorkel to run to the other side water fall, which naturally pushes water and leaves etc to the biological side and skimmer. I assume he will,put plants in post etc to ingest nitrates out of the water. The barrel you saw is a snorkel, he can occasionally put a vacuum down to suck up any decay matter. Usually the water is sucked from below up and allowed to flow up through the rocks so any plants on top absorb nitrates. He just looks like he did the opposite. If he has plants to absorb excess nitrates he may just be sucking the organic down through the rocks and to a filter inside the snorkel(blue barrel). It may work but he wouldn’t have had to have the filter floss, sponges if he had just made the deck area a plant bog and pushed water up through it to the plants vs down …..make any sense?

You are quiet right. Idealy he should have pump at the opposite end of the pond and run the pipe towards the basket stacks blow from the left side of the side of the base towards the snorkle so waste form accumulate near the snorkle for sucking up the waste. At the snorkle should also have side venting to allow water to flow towards it without blowing back towards the pump outlet pipe and water perculate upward towards the pebble above which act as natural filtration. I would put bioballs in every second cage or every cage losely to increase suface area for more effective filtration process

Kolam buatan kLo tanpa pompa air atau airasi yg fungsi nya untuk mengalirkan sirkulasi oksigen agar ikan tdak mati ,namanya kolam buatan pasti perlu perlakuan kusus untuk ikan piaraan trutama koi. Mati lampu sehari aja pasti ikan koi banyak yg mati
