Or as my aunt use to say when I use to go visit her in the 80's, and 90's, and then lived with her for about a year after high school in 2000 trying to figure out life as she lived just outside of Myrtle Beach, the "Mini-Tourist-Trap capital of the world".
Hey Adam! The fun keeps rolling on. This is the kinda stuff people never see when they come to places like Myrtle Beach and if you didn’t let people know they would never see it. Thanks again and stay safe!
@@awakenwithalison I think they meant that most people only make time for the major tourist attractions and don't stop to really take in the minor wackiness.

America has to be hands down the best at roadside attractions, loved the Sharks being a parking spot for shopping trolleys, i bet come the spring time that place is buzzing, plenty of holiday fun stuff to do, you amaze me you never seem to have an off day, always up and at it, great vlog Adam, and really nice to see your mom, giving you a big old wave coming down the escalator lol, think she was pleased to see you.
Suggestion: Atalaya Castle, just about 10 minutes south of Myrtle Beach. Old castle formerly used as a residence with an interesting history. Now a public park and touring site. Brookgreen Gardens is across the street from the castle is beautiful and was also owned by the Huntington family who resided in the castle.

I went to Myrtle at the end of January about 5 years ago and was thrilled that nobody was there except construction people working on hotels. I had the whole beach to walk along by myself, could visit all the sites w/o traffic, and the best part was my room was beachfront next to the bar for $65 a night (reg. $250). The Canadian spring break starts in about 5 weeks and prices go back to normal.
Love this Myrtle Beach tour. Especially the miniature golf. The best to you and yours...mom. Good to see your mom even briefly. Praying that everything is going well for you and your family Mr. Adam. Be safe and well in your adventures.
Hello to your Mom!! Hope you make it up to North Myrtle Beach! You'll have to check out OD Pavillion at Ocean Drive and learn the history of the Carolina Shag, if you're not familiar with it and Boulineau's in Cherry Grove is a must see if you've never been there.
You’re visiting my home town! Myrtle beach has its ups and downs with the attractions here, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m grateful that I grew up here and still do, I experience everything you went to in this video! Keep up the good work!
Myrtle Beach, the gift that keeps on giving. Thanks for taking us along as you visit some of these cool places, Adam. It's always nice to see the lovely Mom of Woo. 🌟👏💛☀️
The former AFB, is now an airport, way back when the base was in operation, we use to watch the fighter jets fly out over the ocean in the evening and you could plainly see the glowing exhaust from their afterburners.
Hello again from SC. I was born when my parents were stationed at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base... which was closed a bit back but now includes the airport you visited which is why those planes are there.. So glad you've found some "fun in the sun"... despite there not being any sun. I've always enjoyed the Grand Strand in the off season. It's called that because when the tides out the beach is very wide. Once upon a time the mountains in the west of the state rivaled the Himalayan mountains... but millions of years of erosion wore them down and the rock eventually was carried east to form the Sandhills of the Pee Dee as well as a super wide bunch of sand off the coast.
Omg….got so excited seeing the title! There are lots of movie locations around MB! Loving this SC series and love seeing your parents on with you ! Places to possibly visit while there: brookgreen gardens, atalaya castle, Huntington park, parleys island hammock shop, peaches corner ( 9th & ocean) and historic downtown MB (8th ave north area), Georgetown has a lot of historical sections and movie locations, Vereen memorial gardens, hopsewee plantation, ride along murrelet inlet (there are some historic placards), SC hall of fame, hurry county museum in Conway,

The stuff I like. Cool! Any old vine/moss grown over amusement parks nearby? I got to Florida too late... The 'Mouse that ate Orlando' put most of them out of business. I once had a guide book to help me find them- out in the 'jungle'...
Hopefully everything is ok with the Woo family. Enjoy your time with family Adam Suggestions for future content. I would love to see you cover the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville NC.
Adam, did you eat at the Gulfstream Cafe (view of the spaceship house there)? We did. It was suggested by a local while we were walking the public pier of shops (on the other side of that waterway) in Murrell's, and the food was wonderful! If you're in the area for a few days, I heartily recommend the place.
Adam while you are in the Myrtle Beach Area you should go to Huntington Beach State Park to see the Atalaya Castle. It's in the Murrells Inlet area and it's right on the beach. Lots of history and you can tour inside of the castle. There's also a marsh walk and nature center at the park.
Mini golf is EVERYWHERE in the Myrtle Beach area! Grew up going to Cherry Grove (North Myrtle Beach) every summer over the 4th of July. I love the kitschiness of that area, too! You can never have too much kitsch! It makes the world fun! Also, I love the airport in Columbia, SC. (I know this is the Myrtle Beach airport). It is my favorite in the United States! So pretty and mellow!
Amazing how much things change even in 20 years. Actually fell in love with golf there, playing various par three courses....one was called Cane Patch, and another was called Midway. I've been watching your stuff for no particular reason; usually watch political stuff, but really like how you see special things that most people would miss.
@@bigbsadler That's too bad. Par 3's are a good way to introduce non-golfers to something other than putting on a carpet, or swinging away at a ball on a mat. I guess they are not a good business model, or there would be more of them. Thanks for the info.
We always look forward to seeing Mom and/or Dad Woo whenever they can make an appearance, no matter how brief! 😉

Great episode, great area...I see Malfuncsean is down that way too, perhaps a duel episode?🤔
Hi Adam, ur in my neck of the woods, MB near Broadway at the Beach. Maybe I'll run into u over the next few days, watch out for the ice.
That Pavillion Arcade game room is the location where they had The Donkey Kong World Championship tournament years ago..
The stuff I like. Cool! Any old vine/moss grown over amusement parks nearby? I got to Florida too late... The 'Mouse that ate Orlando' put most of them out of business. I once had a guide book to help me find them- out in the 'jungle'...
Enjoy roadside attractions. 👍 Love seeing Mom! 💕
Always happy to see your Mom and Dad! Praying everything will be okay!
Childhood memories of traveling through SC to Myrtle Beach include many fireworks stands and pecan logs for sale.
The Daily Woo's "This One is Closed" Tour. Love the videos, brother. Be safe out there.
Hopefully everything is ok with the Woo family. Enjoy your time with family Adam
Suggestions for future content. I would love to see you cover the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville NC.
Excellent show this morning I really enjoyed it 👏
Always great videos. Thanks Adam
Always enjoy your videos from a town you lived in LeRoy Illinois
I think the tounge twister u may be referring to is she sells sea shells by the dea shore
Your Mama waving to you❤️just like mine would do...love it! Interesting vlog, Adam, thank you! 🌼
Cane Patch is now just a driving range and Midway was closed and recently changed names to Aero club and reopened
@@bigbsadler That's too bad. Par 3's are a good way to introduce non-golfers to something other than putting on a carpet, or swinging away at a ball on a mat. I guess they are not a good business model, or there would be more of them. Thanks for the info.
The property prices have gotten so high here that they are tearing down golf courses and par 3s to put homes.
That is one cool fireworks store
What a massive shark as well!
Two Thumbz 👍👍
My old stomping grounds...so much to do! Have fun! This makes me homesick! Enjoy the time with your Mom! Market Commons has a few good restaurants.
Nice, you shared some very cool road side attractions. I've been to Myrtle Beach and never got a chance to see these items. Thank you for sharing 🌺🧡
