    CASE NOTES
    ================
    Donnie Messier
    Missing Since: October 5th, 2006
    Missing From: Waitsfield, Vermont
    Sex: Male Height: Unknown Weight: Unknown
    Race: White
    Age: 34 years old
    Case Description:
    Messier was last seen at a party in Waitsfield, Vermont at 2:00 a.m. on October 15, 2006. He left the gathering driving his red 1997 Ford F-150 dual cab pickup truck and has never been heard from again.
    The vehicle has the Vermont license plate number BGG890, a dual exhaust, a moon visor, a black tonneau cover, and the NASCAR numbers 27, 07 and 08 displayed in the rear window. A photograph of it is posted with this case summary. Since his disappearance, Messier's bank accounts, credit cards and cellular phone have been inactive.
    Messier was reported missing on October 18, three days after he was last seen, after he missed two days of work at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters without calling in. His family described him as a hard worker and a "homeboy" who rarely traveled anywhere. The only out-of-state trip he had ever taken was in the fifth grade, when his father's work briefly took the family to Florida.
    In October 2022, the diving group Adventures with Purpose found Messier's pickup in the Wisnooski River in Duxbury, Vermont. Investigators are going to try to retrieve it and see if his remains are inside.

      I wish that I could heart this.💓 They got,so much hate from finding Kiely.
      They're always professional,thorough & sensitive towards the family.. Anyone should be grateful that they found their loved one..

    this episode was the best i have watched in a long time. I loved the way it was presented. Felt more like the past than the newer episodes that are to much drama for me. All the work they do is outstanding but some people make you feel better watching this type of show. Hope this group stay true to this and don't go the way of the other team. thanks for all you do.

    The way carson said 'we just found Donnie' broke my heart. I pray for the AWP team all the time. Thank you for putting yourselves in dangerous and emotionally draining situations for families all around the US. Sending love and prayers always!!

    Thank goodness Nick mentioned it to Jerod and continued to talk about it & wouldn't rule it out 100%. That's what made the difference in finding it or not finding it. This will definitely be a learning case for the future. Magnet didn't stick, 'not high enough to be a vehicle', etc.
