- No, this is not a Sneak Peek. We're sorry if you were looking for that. This is just Curren$y, one of the flyest rappers out, discussing and comparing two of his favorite collections: cars and kicks. Fresh off of NBA All-Star Weekend in The Crescent City, the New Orleans-bred artist invites us over to chill out, talk kicks and analyze his automobile collection in relation to some of his favorite sneakers. In a sense, welcome to a showing of The Drive-In Theatre.
Finally a guy with a functional shoe collection. And a guy who knows his cars. Amen

I don't understand his point on the retro releases.
I didn't have the opportunity to have OG Jordans when I was a kid, and there's no point in having OG Jordans in GS size.
What am I supposed to do, if I like Jordans and want to pay homage to the awesome Hatfield designs? Do I just have to bet on some Japanese guy on Ebay to have a 5000$ Jordan 5? That's not fair, it's like sayin' "Oh you don't know anything about cars, because you didn't grow up in the 70's".
The retro stuff is a great opportunity to own and respect the great classics, the important thing is to know that the retro release is NOT like the OG, and have respect for the OG culture.

You get what you are able to get with your money, and of course I agree completely that people should get what they like, not what they are supposed to like.
I'm italian, here j's are more hyped than ever, and people have no knowledge at all because well, they're italian idiots, so I know really well the hype madness going on.

Same here! when i got the playoffs 8s i didn't want them cause they was the newest one out but i wanted them cause I'm a 90s head!! 1993 was an awesome year! three peat for Jordan, kick azz hip hop and fashion. THATS WHY! but i give JB credit on them cause they definitely one of the more quality retro releases unlike the fire red 4s lol the paint on them things cracked so fast i had to some retouching of my own LOL and the pippins so clean and underrated!

Lol kid said spittas collection is garbage. He has an actual appreciation for the shoes he buys , and has a variety. My guy went from original releases, to foams, had some roscoe air force highs back there and send helps. Hes a real sneaker head
