Supplies Needed:
8 fabric fat quarters
Crib size batting
3 yards fabric for backing and binding
Sewing Machine
Iron and ironing board
Thread
Rotary Cutter
Cutting Mat
Scissors for trimming threads
Rulers for cutting
Straight sewing pins
Curved quilt basting pins
Walking foot or free motion quilting foot for your machine

I am a beginner and so grateful that you are doing these tutorials. I am in the process of gathering my supplies and am not sure what batting to buy for this project. Any suggestions would so helpful Like you I am a Sampler stitcher but have not quilted so am looking forward to learning!!
Personally, I would purchase Warm & Natural or Warm & White.

I love that fabric. I have a corner cabinet full of blue and white antique dishes. I think I need to get this fabric and sew along to display beside

This is a great idea! I've been wanting to learn quilting. I have lots and lots of fabric that I've collected. I also have the blocks for a quilt that my grandmother appliqued Sunbonnet Sue for my daughter. They are appliqued on a white background so I know they just need something between the blocks, but I just don't know what to do with them to make the quilt. Looking forward to watching! Thank you!

I so want to learn,even how to use rulers,the mat board,cut straight etc. I want to make a small table runner.. oh man so thankful! I will watch and hopefully I can start as bought fabric yrs ago. But they aren’t any particular size.. what size are fat quarters as I may have that size as can’t buy anything right now.
Fat quarters are 18”x21” so you may be able to cut from what you have!!
I have a problem with the cutter : my blade when I rolled goes on the ruler!! Is that because I begin to cut at the beginning of the ruler?? Help. That why I begun to do EPP cuz I take my scissors!
