One of the reasons I like RWBY is the fact that they have strong female characters. Not just female versions of male characters (like you often see in superhero movies), but genuinely creative characters that happen to be female.

My immediate though: Yup, best ship is still sailing, canon[s] ready. Buzz buzz.
You do realize interviews are not absolute. 90% of these kinds of interviews are invalid because the interviewers lie or they're very subtle depending on the questions they'r being asked. In this case I'm pretty sure Barbara and Arryn are trolling. I do see lgbt characters on RWBY however it won't be the four protagonists. Miles Luna has stated that Remnant is a big world with a lot of people of different cultures and background that right there is a clue. The lgbt characters could be any new character that has been introduce during vol 3-vol4 and onwards especially vol4 since they have introduced anima and Mistral and it will continue in the future because they're planning to show more about Remnant so Vacuo, Atlas and other places will be shown as the show progresses. If it's not that maybe Blake and Yang will become bisexual in the future and they will decide to share Sun.
Kara was looking at Barbara because she was about to speak it doesn't implies anything. Also its really strange that neither Barbara nor Arryn said that Blake and Yang are among the lgbt characters.

The more I listen to this interview the more my confirmations are true. Miles and Kerry are going to stretch the whole" lgbt" characters all the way to the last volume with giving very small hints. Like I said before I doubt they'll be like Legend of Kora.

RWBY Volume 9 is super awesome. Love volume 9. In episode 6, Yang fall in love with Blake. I fucking love lesbians, in my highschool, I stalk to girls, and i saw them making love, Bow Chicka Fuck Wow. LOL. Anime yuri is romantic. Given the sentiment of not writing women or men so much as just cool characters I do feel it'd be much easier and natural to just include LGBT+ characters given how Remnant's culture is apparently meant to be. However if its part of an ongoing story line between two characters that would make more sense and may be, being hidden to avoid potentially tipping people off early. Still, mixed feelings, but hopeful.
Someone 'we' can relate to? The usual male geek like me can't even relate to any of the male characters. The majority of screen time is of teams RWBY and JNPR, with only 2 guys. Ren is kinda too exotic kinda leaving only Jaune. The show by genders is not balanced at all, but this doesn't mean that it is necessarily bad or even wouldn't be if it was mostly male.
Exactly just because the protagonists are all female and they're on a team it doesn't mean they're homosexual or bisexual. It has being show that Weiss, Blake and Yang like boys so they're heterosexual. Ruby since she's still young isn't interested in boys (for the moment) but she won't remain with that mentality forever once she matures a bit she will be interested in boys.
I don't know if you heard, but just because so far they have been shown to like guys does not mean at least one of them can be bisexual. They have said that the girls are still figuring themselves out in many ways. Also, Ruby is 16 years old. How is that too young to be interested in dating someone. And how can you just state as fact that she will like boys? That could be the case, but you have no idea what she will like except the writers themselves. So far though, it looks like she is asexual, but that's just a guess. Not a fact like you are trying to prove.

I don't like yuri pairings honestly it doesn't mean I hate lesbians or gay. If BB happens I will ignore it but I'm pretty sure it won't be until the last volume and maybe they will be very subtle more than Legend of Kora. But for now RT is going to keep on trolling and reeling in the fans keeping them guessing.
