BNL Speakers Corner Then & Now

This Then & Now, BNL clip from speakers corner was put together for their MMM 2001 I&I special. It also aired during regular commercial breaks while they were featured as 'artist of the month' in November 2001.

There was almost no "Now" version of the Barenaked Ladies. I was working in the master control section of the former ChumCity company. Between 5 and 7 p.m., I would be very busy with several tasks including providing a tape for Speakers Corner for auto-recording. There was a tape, but it was at the 62 minute mark. There would only be enough tape for a few seconds of recording. As soon as the BNL entered the Speakers Corner booth, I quickly changed tapes. They were able to be recorded.
