I think one of the saddest moments is after the 7 year gap when Lucy finds out that her father died. After she visited his grave and went home, when she found all those gifts and a note from her father. Made me cry a river😢

While I admit Laxus at the Fantasia parade is iconic it’s not sad for the simple reason most people don’t forgive laxus at the time for being the cause of all of the guilds injuries. You may say that it’s not his fault but it really is be because if he hadn’t declared the battle of fairy tail a thing the guild wouldn’t have had injuries. After all this there is no way you can come back from this so if you think you can come at me bro and I’ll deflate anything you have to say.

I agree with you with all but one. The only one there that actually made me ball my eyes out was when Mavis found out Zera had actually died long ago. I think the worst thing about that was Zera's actual last words were, "can we be friends?" The fact that she had lived a life with an imaginary friend that she was so convinced to be real is heartbreaking, it's like loosing your only family.

When Zeref killed Mard Geer, the demon thought he was doing the right thing to help Zeref but was told that he never could bring about what Zeref desired. I know Mard Geer is an enemy but he was rather badass and his death was sad because he was humiliated by the being he wanted to serve.
