I’ve just come across Salkan bags and am thinking about this bag for family travel. My preference would be to not check a bag but wondering if you attempted to carry this bag on a plane and if so, how well it fits in an overhead bin. Based on their website it appears this technically isn’t carry-on compliant but it looks like it would be close. Thanks!
This seems like a more complicated solution then just getting a large travel backpack that can carry all your stuff and a packable backpack. Maybe this would work for a parent with a young kid. They can give the smaller backpack to the kid to use but then can strap it onto the bigger backpack when the child gets too tired of carrying it.
Hi Danny! Can you please review the Osprey Daylite Carry-On 44L please? And how does it compare to Patagonia Black Hole MLC 45L, Cabin Zero Classic 44L, and other similar backpacks? Thank you!
Hey Danny, I was recently watching all of your travel bag videos and I remember seeing a bag that had a flat packing daypack that could be stored in the laptop compartment. I can’t seem to find which bag this was, do you know which bag I am talking about?
Honestly I wouldnt know what to do with a 55 liter bag. I am pretty sure i can fit All of my cloths in there, jajajajaja. I guess it would be ideal if you are moving.
Nice review. Not a big fan of that style of bag. It’s resembles an out dated hiking pack. I am a big fan of the Heritage style pack. In fact I run with Topo Designs packs for all my trips 5 days or more. They also have a pack fast system to attach a pair of bags together. I also do the majority of my travel via plane, and the large bag will not work as a carry on if it is packed out. I am a fan of your channel and love your content, but this bag just didn’t appeal to me. ❤️🤙🏽
Both are really beautiful packs, thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching and for the support!:)
When wearing the daypack on your front the g hooks go through the upper straps on the shoulder straps of the daypack instead of the tiny hoops.
Thank you for watching and for the additional information, that makes sense!
Pretty sure the daypack hooks on via loops on the shoulder straps, not the side, which makes I think makes it easy to connect/disconnect
Thank you for watching and that makes sense!

Thank you for watching and that’s a fair point, although I like this system I recently traveled with a duffel and it was really convenient

Thank you for watching! Was it maybe the minaal carry on 3.0 video? That one shows me storing the minaal daily in the laptop section
I liked how you gave a bit of a chuckle when you wore the small pack on your frontside. Sorry but that looks goofy AF.
Thank you for watching and it definitely feels interesting to wear it like that :)

Thank you for watching and that’s a fair point! Definitely not something I would be filling up to capacity for a typical trip!

Thank you for watching and for the support! Can definitely understand the look is not for everyone!:)
