Never come across your videos previously but what a refreshing change it is not to be told to go spend silly money on x. Great reviews are hard to come buy especially ones which arent biased or sponsored.
I don't think you need the latest gadgets to catch fish. However people generally like nice stuff, so when a company like sonic makes their tackle affordable and good quality they are onto a winner. I'll be bagging myself a set of these today, great review 😊
Sonik already used last 5 years amazing rods and price, first reels was bad, and get this here x reels , really surprised be price and quality, not sure about alarms and rod pod
The only issue I’ve had with the herox range is the line running under the spool I’ve actually had a couple crack offs because of this. But could be anglers negligence and the fact I’m using a 10000 big pit reel in a leisure lake lol
@@CvdW5 I’ve got the rods and reels at the moment. The rods are really good I’ve got 3.25lb test curves and they can handle pretty much anything, you just have to be careful with the reel as if you’re not paying attention it’s very easy for the line to run under the spool or off the spool and the reels are very clunky til you break them in.

I think we need to take a step back and not be brainwashed with the " carp fishing is expensive" quote!!! because it isn't expensive and the stuff they're tryna sell is un needed... If ur thinking of starting fishing and you dont wana spend ur money on loads of crap you don't actually need, sit down make a cup of tea and Watch "Chris yates"...
Why spend money on, new stuff. When you have taken care of your alarms, rods, & fishing tackle for many many years. I still own Fox bait alarms for over 20 years, still in perfect working condition.
Because people get caught up in the latest an greatest brands. Doesn't catch you more fish. Good hook, bait in right spot at right time. Fish don't care if you have spent 10 grand on kit or 200 from go outdoors.
I use my uncles in microns (he’s pushing 40) and there so good but Im using the dounder box and am going to upgrade probably to the new mx microns if you buy high quality tackle you can use it for ample time

I had some sonik ones I turned it all the way down and still well loud can you turn it all the way down with them ones
