The Making of Thread Painting Landscape 🌳🌸 The Garden Timelapse Hand Embroidery

Hi everyone, this is a timelapse video in fast speed, not a tutorial. Because the working hour is way too long, can’t show all the details.
I’m pleasantly surprised that one of the short video of this piece has reached 2 million views on Instagram 🤣 🎉
This piece is the craziest thing I have ever made, lots of details everywhere, but it was so much fun. For most parts there was no drawing, and I just go with the flow, use my needle as painting brush, add the grass, then add the flowers.

Oh so beautiful. This is a wonderful place that you've needle painted. The house is cute with the blue shutters. All of the colorful flower gardens, trees, clouds, and bridge are just so gorgeous. Ok, more than just....WOW! I would LOVE to know some specifics: such as how long did this take to create? How much floss did you use? What are the dimensions? Do you sell pieces or take commisssions? Do you look ever look at it and think you need to change something, add more, or wish you had done something different from the start? Is it ever finished in your mind? Does the finished image look as you envisioned it before you started, or better? I have almost a million questions....😊

That’s a lot of questions indeed 😂 takes about 2-3 weeks for something like this. Using 1-2 strands, size 12x17 inches. I do both commissions and pieces for sell, but this year I want to make more pieces for sell. If I keep looking at it, I will keep stitching on it, somehow I just decided it’s enough working hours on it, more I will have to sell it too expensive. I changed my mind many times during the process, and it will never be perfect, just hoping every time I get better at it. Luckily this piece is sold. 😊 i
