- Hi YT fam! In today’s video I am sharing my first fall haul of the year 2023. I take a less traditional approach when it comes to decorating for this time of year. I lean into colors, texture and pattern. I try to be mindful when it comes to purchasing decor and shelf-life of items. I try to buy items I can get a good amount of use out of from a yearly perspective….. versus only a month or so. I hope you enjoy the items I share within todays videos!

I love that there is not ONE item from Target within this haul. Seems like a lot of the hauls on UA-cam are very redundant with the same items from Target. I enjoyed the items you brought to this haul. Thank you!!!!!

I love that you haul different things. I just watched two fall hauls recently and when I was watching one I thought did I already watch this? Both channels hauled pretty much the same stuff, both of the women look similar and are of a similar age, their houses look similar, and their hauls were similar. I like that you’re different.

I was looking for a checkered door mat (brown/cream) but didnt find it at that moment and ended up purchasing black & white 🫣. Thanks for your vote for a more traditional fall color pallet. I did muted/ & mauve-y touches last year and, honestly, it just wasn't right for me. I'm going back to what makes my heart sing. Thank you for showing me ideas so I can refresh my look and feel.

Well Hannah you did it again. Love the oil lamp and the starpod so unique. I usually do the bright colors, but this year i have toned things dow. I still have my pumpkins, but have painted and destress them a bit. Not so much in your face. A different look and i love it.. I'll be watching on sunday to see how you style everything can't wait. I haven't done traditional fall decor in a long time. This year will be no different. Like you, I want a look that doesn’t scream fall. The look I'm going for, has to last through the winter and mix well with Christmas. I have a few of those old world vessels that I will decorate around. They make such an impact in a room. Also adding branches and a couple of throws. I too burn more candles when it's cooler, so I'll be adding specific styles that go with everything else. And no pumpkin scent. That's just me! I am going for more of a minimalist look. Can't wait to see what you do with your finds. I know it'll be fabulous.
