My only concern will be that someone that is this vast, how will he say he didn’t know it could get worse after 2015 by supporting Buhari into power? This man that supported Buhari with his full chest in 2015, he said we were lucky to have a Buhari as president. Barely two years after Buhari emerged he profusely apologised for campaigning for him but the damage had already been done.

Well he shouldn't have said that publicly anyways, but the reality is that there are groups of people who lay claim to the ownership of Nigeria and determine what happens. The only way to overrun them is to sought for a good candidate with good pedigree to emerge and win the confidence of the people thereby they can't manipulate it.

Nigeria's problem is a problem of people and leadership. The people are complicit in the current state of affairs. We need an awakening of the people- a political consciousness that moves away from the current subhuman tendencies we show. It starts with genuinely wanting and looking for a solution-provider rather than a person who shares our language, tribe or religion. The pinch and pain is the same everywhere and it should not matter who eases it. It is this thinking that would give birth to the Nigeria of our dreams. If Nigeria must work, which in many quarters, is like a Chimera in Greek Mythology, it is this thinking that will be birthed in the vast majority of people that tread the length and breath of that nation.
If we don't get enough people in all walks of life to think this way, we will continue to miss the goal post however wide the post becomes.
Leaders can galvanise this national rebirth. It won't happen spontaneously
