The Romans didn’t even let Nestorus get to the meeting and they just excommunicated him because he said that Mary the blessed virgin shouldn’t be called the mother of God but instead the mother of Christ.
But now they are finally finding his works and are finding them to be orthodox. The reason the popes and Romans just wanted to make him look bad is because the Assyrian Church had more members, built more churches all along the Silk Road route.
They evangelized all the way from Antioch to Nineveh, up to Salamas, Hakari, Tur Abdin, Raban Hormus Alqosh, through to Iran from Urmia all the way through to Afghanistan, India, Tibet, all of Central Asia in the heart of the territory of Ghengis Khan who asked if the Church could allow two learned scholars to be his advisors in return he would give the church free reign to build as they’d please and asked to teach his people the Assyrian Aramaic alphabet.
Khan was amazed to hear that thousands of years before the Ancient Assyrian empire traded with the ancestors of Khan for their prized horses in return they were given the chariot along with the large wagons and the prized composite bow. There are reliefs showing Assyrian soldiers in battle with their bows on horseback.

Anyhow the Roman Church was jealous and worried that eventually the Assyrian Church would be the head of the entire Catholic/ Universal Church of Christ and their greed came into play. That is why the Roman Church has a history of killing Christians and inquisitions, selling indulgences, while the Assyrian Church was built upon evangelicals preaching the word throughout the world and known for their charity, building of churches from Antioch in Western Asia all the way to the eastern shore of China, Korea, and Japan.
The Church was ultimately built primarily on the blood of the martyrs at the foundation.
Also their were two Assyrian popes elected to be the bishop of Rome. The first one was dead in less than two months, and then his brother was selected who took the name Pope Constantine.

Either way the word of the Lord will come true no matter what. At the beginning of the Kingdom of Christ millennium reign there Assyria will be established by Christ as one of three with Egypt and Israel. Two of the 3 are all ready established and the final one to be reestablished is Assyria.
(23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.
24 In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth,
25 whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance." (Isaiah 19:23, ESV)

I'm not religious at all and speaking in openness, there is nothing wrong with what Nestorius said. The Assyrian Church is the holiest: it has no money and spread the word to the likes Rome or Constantinople wished they could have with the words of love we gave.

You shouldn't speak ill of the Catholic and orthodox church- Nestorianism in its condemned form questions the divinity of Christ, it was not orthodox. Granted, Nestorius may not have been a strict propagator of the condemned Nestorianism, there was no ulterior motive for his condemnation which can be linked to jealousy between the churches, that is an absurd claim. The actions of the early church to that point do not point to the narrative of jealousy being true, there is no fact to back up this "jealousy" claim, only speculation. The ACotE and the Catholic church are currently in good standing, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Christological_Declaration_Between_the_Catholic_Church_and_the_Assyrian_Church_of_the_East

Why should it condemn nestorious when he hadn’t done anything wrong. He never said neither Jesus nor God were illegitimate...just a different philosophy on the ascension of Jesus From and into God.

It was no so much what Nestorius said but rather what could develop from his philosophy that was condemned. Although Nestorius may not have explicitly denied the divinity of Christ, his actions could be interpreted as if it did when taking to an extreme. Denying the title of the Theotokos in that context was denying the full divinity of Christ.

Glad to hear about the history of the Church, there's so much to learn. I understand that the West applied the name " Nestorius" to the church of the East because the church of the East did not condemn Nestorius' theology, as I learned from the video. I am just wondering why did the church use the name Nestorius on all the churches of the East? All the churches had the sign named after Nestorius. Why did the church accept that to be the name of the church of the East till the last two or three decades ago? Why did that take so long for the church to realize that this is the church of the East and not a Nostorian church?
Based on John chapter1:14 "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us,......." Jesus (The Word) was always God, He took on a human nature but remained fully God. His humanity and divinity are united in one person, they are not two separate persons.
Nestorius believed that the humanity of Christ and His divine nature are two separate natures and these two are not united in one person but they are two persons sharing one body, that's wrong and it is not biblical.
Nestorius was excommunicated and that served him right, he was not a victim of his enemies, this man came up with a different teaching and it was very different from what the bible teaches.
Revelation 22:18-19 "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.
And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person's share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book." Amen.

Nestorian. He didn't add to the words of bible. His interpretation of doctrine was there were 2 natures in Christ. Human and divine
