@Nemaliah I'll take your word for it, the final fantasy series is one I've always wanted to experience, but I never had a ps2 till recently. I wish I couldve played 7, but I guess be able to play anyone at all it a blessing in itself.

@ChangedFigure Well in X the storytelling is good and everything is explained, so you will understand everything as the story goes on. The game also sticks to its turn based battle system. The music is also better than in 12. If your not sure if you will like it, why not rent it and try it out first then.

@ChangedFigure Well, this is a popular game, and personally I loved it. The story is good and the characters are deep and interesting. :) I think you should get it, it's one of the best in the series.
@Nemaliah I asked because I bought XII and I didnt like it too much. It didnt have what I expected from a final fantasy. It was confusing, and I coulndt follow to well.
@DarkxSeraphim They were wishing they could be Tidus or Yuna and since they weren't they were jealous of the video.
