Imagine this!
"A group of friends get together for a chitchat, by the riverside, admiring the glittering waves, in the MOONLIT NIGHT SKY, under the shade of the Palm trees and relishing the freshly prepared savouries and tea, which makes a perfect setup for a song and dance."
We the GOANS of SACRED HEART CAHTOLIC CHURCH, Manama, Bahrain, under the Konkani Community (Goan) of SHCC, performed for the FAMILY DAY 2023 on the very popular Goan song "CHANNEACHE RATI" written by Mr. Uday Bhembre and originally composed by Late Mr. Ulhas Buyao. The song which we played was remixed by Mr. Buyao's son, Mr. Sidhanath Ulhas Buyao.
This is not a usual song to choreograph and also we not being professional dancers, we had to understand every single word to set the lyrical choreography. With inputs from all of us we tried to present something other than the traditional Goan folk and Portuguese dances.
