i love islam so much i complain to allah and only allah i dont like complaining to others it feels wrong and i can tell they never truly listen but when i complain to allah i feel like allah is with me and listening to everything i say.
Thank you for this post. It's a beautiful reminder that the Creator always wants us to seek Him out and not His creation. All praise is due to Allah! ❤
"complaining to Allah is actually an act of worship" that was one juicy nugget! :) jazakAllahu khairan. I wish I could learn more about the portion where he says "I know from Allah what you don't know." subhanAllah. I wonder what secret Allah swt told him or comforted Yaqub to the point where he never lost hope in his master. wow.
Wow…the sheikh is saying ..when you complain to Allah it increases your imaan and your asking the one who can solve your problem…how many times i complain to my sister and friends but they just get bored and don’t have the answers. It makes me feel empty. But when I complain to Allah it feels like a burden has been lifted and I trust in Allah to make the situation easier
Yes, ameen. Beautifully expressed. Truly, Surah 12 (Yusuf) is a powerful true story and very meaningful, and shows us how the power of forgiveness can be within an individual.
I literally just read this chapter in the Quran. And i was like daaaang...those brothers were sooo jealous and their actions were indeed so evil. The version in the quran is even more devious and sad then the one in the bible. Thanks for the explination. It was quite relevant.
JazakAllah. I have a question: What are the advantages that Muslim youth have in this day and age, given our young age, and how can we go about making the best use of what we've been given?
Ok so, we Muslims in most of the lectures use the names of the Prophets as mentioned in the Bible only so that any Christian listener get to understand exactly about whom we are talking, but that can be mentioned once, if we start calling them according to the Bible, our children will get confused when names are pronounced in the Quran.
Assalamu alaikum, may Allah reward all of bayyinah team abundantly for the efforts that you put in. My question is about meaning of a verse that in my country people are very confused about. "In the Surah At-Tin ayah number 5, Allah says that He created the mankind in the best stature . Does it mean that Allah created us in the best character or physical form or both? And what does next ayah mean by the lowest of the low? Lastly according to those meanings, did Allah created us in the best possible way or does it just means that amongs the creations of Allah we are the best?" JazakAllahu khayran
I have a question. I heard that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) warned against pursuing things for the attention of people; according to a scholar, it's an unobvious kind of shirk because you're seeking the pleasure or praise of the creation versus that of the creator. My question is: what should people whose profession or job it is to seek people's attention do? There are some careers and businesses were advancements and profits are highly contingent on successfully acquiring people's attention/pleasure. The Prophet (SAW) said to not even approach sin (I think but may be wrong), so should I leave all my professional endeavors all together because I don't know that I'd always be able to separate the seeking of attention from the conducting of business?
In the name of God, the entirely merciful, the specially merciful. I am not a scholar but i can make myself useful by telling you what i do if i were in your situation. I started out by writing to talk about my experience but i think what we should take from this video by Abdullah Oduro that we need to ask Allah and Pray to guide us. Also from the Hadith that i remember it is best to avoid questionable situations. In any case, Allah knows best, i hope i have made a different and I ask Allah to guide all of us. Amin!
Complaining to Allah mean being ungrateful and being ungrateful means we are disbeliever (P.S--- we should always be thankful) .. I read stuff like that on internet ..Kindly guide me on this???
A friend of mine asked me if he drank just a glass of beer or some other form of alcohol in a casual gathering, just once or twice a month, why would that be haram? He is not drinking to the point of intoxication and is fully aware of his actions. I argued that casually drinking could lead to getting intoxication one day, even by accident. And the actions you might take then could never be worth the risk of just casually drinking. Also, it is harmful for your liver and thus it is deemed haram. My friend argued that he'd be aware enough to not have more than 1 or 2 beers and also that just a couple a month wouldn't harm him that much. Are there any better ways I can answer him? Thank you
In the name of Allah, the entirely merciful, the specially merciful, there are different levels of belief (EEMAN), the one who has a strong EEMAAN just obeys the word of Allah and obeying the word of your creator is more important than harm or benefit of something in question. Alhamdullillah that EEMAN is attainable by Allah's permission but there needs to be a willingness from the person to attain a higher level if EEMAN and it is Allah who has all power and might and we all need to ask Allah for what we need. A lesson from this video is that we need to seek Allah's pleasure and ask Allah. May Allah help you to talk to your friend about this and inshallah we are all guided by Allah to attain a higher level of EEMAN. Ameen!

Then teach the children both names. That's what I do for my 11, 8 and 5 year old students. They are not confused at all. Alhamdulillah
Ameen 😢

Jazakallah.. Amazing and very helpful. . But i think the main points should be shown as text with lil effects. ..
Anise yaseen Shah ,
LEVI and SIMEON of Gen. 49:5 are Joseph and Benjamin as ESAU and Jacob, as Isaac and Ishmael.
Even as today Israel and Jerusalem.
Complaining to Allah mean being ungrateful and being ungrateful means we are disbeliever (P.S--- we should always be thankful) .. I read stuff like that on internet ..Kindly guide me on this???
Turkish or arabic subtitle please

So complaining to Allah means to asking for help. So saying things like why it happened to me is wrong , even when talking to Allah?
You are asking Allah. Allah like you asked Him. He will answer you uniquely.
How can I send my questions?
