  • In this video I will show you how to carve, cover and airbrush an ice bucket cake. It's a fun cake to decorate and you can use the same method for other similar shapes eg pot plants, baskets, beach bucket etc

      Hi thank you . Sure , I’ll put that on my list of videos to create. I actually had footage of the first bottle I made but it was a bit of a disaster so I had to remake it (late at night) and I didn’t film the actual making of the second bottle I made. The one you see on this cake.

    How did you make your lines on bottom of bucket if you dont mind me asking

      I marked them with the back of my knife first then used a leaf shaping tool to make a deeper impression. This tool is in most standard cake decorating tool sets. Use a ruler as a guide to make sure you mark them straight too.

      Hi I actually can’t remember, must have been a 6” and 7” round cakes. You can do this with any size sponges, really depends on how many servings you need.

      Hi They are isomalt. You melt isomalt into silicone cube trays, allow to cool, then place on cake.
