Ive been watching anime for 9 years and kiritsugu is my favorite character out of every anime I have watched and I have watched at least 50+ different anime and this gives him so much justice and more this is amazing (yes I know I'm a little late)
A hero of justice who sacrificed everything to save thousands of people, but failed. He only saved a boy named Shirou who later became a hero of justice too. He’s the most badass character I’ve ever known.
You know, I gotta feel bad for Kiritsugu, for his entire life is a massive FAILURE. He wanted peace in the world, but he had to give up on that dream, or he would have killed everyone. Due to guilt for killing off his entire family, was unable to have a proper happy relationship with Irisviel and cheated on her, due to a masochistic desire for guilt. He failed to save everyone, in the end he could only save ONE kid, just to "curse" the boy with the same mistake that drew him on, with the cost of his lovers, "killing" his daughter, being cursed, losing his magic, and dying like a dog. He failed to prevent another holy grail war, he failed to save his daughter, he failed to properly raise his son, and left everything to him, with the dire possibility of said son turning into a regretful terminator, doomed for all eternity to kill the many to save the most. So yeah, no matter how badly Shirou performs, he did much better than his father.
You know this is so sad but true . He tried really hard indeed to save everyone but just couldn't . It's like destiny cheated on him , there was no way he could have done something else , it was always a choice between many and most .
Depending on how Shirou lives his life, say as Archer, his life/after life is even worse being a counter guardian. But Shirou typically has a happen ending at the end of the Fate (Last Episode VN), UBW, and Heaven's Feel routes.
At least his Nameless version (Fate extra/ Fate extella) is less miserable, and he even was optimistic about his role and what to do. In Extra/Extella he wasn't claimed by Ayala, but by the Moon Cell, and instead of being a counter guardian, saving the world only by killing, he became a true protector of the world against the Umbral star, preventing the end of the world by fighting non-human monsters bent of consuming the world, and even being ok with having being defeated in one reality, just focusing on saving the one he was currently in, and succeeding, where other servants, like Nero or Cu Chulainn, failed
That was amazing it was like an awesome trailer for the show capturing it's most epic moments. Like somewhat looks like a trailer for a movie and this totally could someone to watch it
Easily the best AMV I've watched .. I've tried to find other AMV but usally it's just clips and some background music, sometimes the climax doesn´t even match with the clips .. really well done.. I love the build up you get until the climax and the editing as well.
I dont know how much ive watched it but its the same experience over and over again(at least 30 Times). Its a masterpiece. This is so freaking epic. Number 1 AMV ive ever watched. And i think it will be 1 forever!!
Mind you Fate/Zero came out in 2011, and still looks like (visually) one of the greatest Anime of all time. It's my recommendation for anyway trying to get into Anime.

Nah. As someone who got into the Fate franchise with Fate/Zero, I’m starting to see how much Fate/Zero is on the weaker side of the Fate works. And yes, FGO clears Zero.

I have a theory Shirou lost his soul in the fire he got resurrected because of kiritsugu's wish to save at least one person
