I saw your vids last night, and I liked it. Now, I am getting addicted to them. I understand English perfectly, but my weakness is to communicate with people. So, I usually talk to myself in English lol! But, I know it is not enough. Sigh! But, talking to people makes me nervous a lot. :(
your channel is really a great one; this is the first time that I find some lesson which explains vocabulary in such an easy one, I wish your courses would help me improve my English.

hello sir, I am Wira from Indonesia. You are such a great teacher sir. I am very thankful finding your channel in youtube, because it helps me a lot in improving my english, especially my listening skills. I just want to ask if I could improve my speaking skills as well as my listening ones? is there any spesific way that I can do, sir? I'll really appreciate any advice from you, sir and I know I couldn't say enough thanks :)
The answer I get is always just speak to improve your speaking! And yes somehow it is true, you know it is how it is just try to speak and the skills will keep getting higher and higher by no time ✌
Hi, Drew, it is my luck to find videos like this, which help non native speakers learn some useful words, idioms and phrases. I would like very much to join this programm, but I have a question though to hold me back. I have noticed that you uploaded a lot of good videos on UA-cam, if I sign in, will I get new videos/mp3s or some of them are the same as here? Looking forward to your reply. Wish you a merry Christmas.
i have came across many teachers and english instructors online but the truth is you are the one that i most admired , your accent so clear for me and moreover your ability and the quality to conveying your messages in an eloqent way ......i am not a judge but you are someone who always deserve to be put on a pedestal ..thanks ..ihsan khadra .. please i appreciate if you can send me your email address ...sorry for misprint and some grammars as well......
Dear Drew, I can't thank you enough for these useful lessons! Is there maybe a list of all the phrases you mention in your videos? Or for each video individually ? :)
Hello Thank you for your really helpful and useful videos. I really like your phrases. Have you got any video about preparing for an interview? And how to describe the personalities and also about qualifications and educational background??
sir i have learned a lot of phrase and improved my english vocabulary...i can absorb 80-90% of what foreign speakers say....but still i not very sauve at speaking...( sir i would like to explain my problem with an example-----suppose i am willing say cool sentences like---" hai you know! people out there looking for an angle...looking to play on your weakness"..(just like you speak)...and conversation carries..on...but in real situation...it will be like" hai you know! these people are very bad...they are planing to attack on us.....''..i speak like a kid.....it does work, i end up saying something else...which is very uncool....sometime voice gets crumble...i forget threads of words....and i end up reapeating same sentence 2 or 3 times and feel content less......i am not getting into level where i project myself....please suggest me something....
I'm totally find understanding and having conversations with people in my university: professors, students, etc. But I completely suck in converstations with less educated marginal people, like maintenance or people on the streets. I just don't understand a word, especially when they have a strong accent. What would you recommend?
I'd like that you use a more clearly way to write the words, cause I work hard to see those words, you have to think about people with low visión thnks thank you, your videos are very useful and has helped me a lot
In 11:32, I ead about the sample in a word RAW and it says " I prefer a raw to COOKED ones" ,,, i just wanna know if thats a correct grammar? Or should it says to COOK ones?... I'm still eager to learn english and base on the grammar lessons I've learned... The verb after the preposition TO verb, should be in a present form of the verb.
Hi bro Jhun! "Cooked" ones is correct. This word (which is not considered a verb in this statement) should be in a past tense form if it describes a noun. Example: Salted fish, Canned fruit, Dried beans. You are correct in saying that a verb after a preposition 'to' should be in present tense since it is acting as a verb in a particular statement. Example: TO LOVE and TO HOLD; We are TO BRING each other up; He has prepared for us TO DO good works. Galing naman, we admire your desire to learn! Go bro, just keep on learning and keep the questions coming, we are re-learning too!
I see...thanks Sis. Ting, it is new to me and additional knowledge that I could use properly with confidence in the future. I'm looking forward to excel in english, it's kinda battle in my tongue, but now I can feel the progress... Slowly,,, and or but through constant practice, it makes me improve though.
