The bunker was awesome, I could spend hours in a place like that. It’s great that they have kept it, great part of UK history. Lovely beaches, you landed lucky with the weather… no wind! Cheers
Like me Martin, I took hours of footage and got carried away with nostalgia in the bunker. The east coast was a real surprise to us. We loved our time exploring the Scottish coastline without the dramatic mountains and the crowds 😃 no wind 😉 Trev
Sophie is a cute little dog and has a very different character to Oscar. She loves the water but will insist on drinking the salty sea water until she is sick. Little rascal, typical terrier yes ! 😃 Trev
Love looking back at our secret history, so much old technology, reminds me of the one in Liverpool we visited earlier in the year, some wonderful places you visited as well 👍
Just sat with a Gin and Tonic enjoying our last night in Scotland before heading home to Norfolk and watching this Vlog. The Secret Bunker looked very interesting . Thanks for sharing and enjoy the rest of your trip.
Ahhh… that journey home is always a difficult one. But like I always say, you can’t start another tour until you finish the one you are on and return home. 😃 Trev
Wow that bunker gave me chills. Loved the harbour and the sound of the seagulls in the background. Great to see the his and hers Porsche’s and I must say they would match Smurf on your driveway fantastically 👍🏻😊 ps Lilly is barking at Sophie on the tv 😂
What a beautiful area, and so peaceful. I thought the bunker museum was very interesting. I remember being a bit terrified when growing up as a teenager, the threat of nuclear war was so real. The likes of us were advised that, in the event of an attack, shelter under the stairs, or in a basement, or to 'mock up' some doors set to lean against the wall! The public information film, 'Duck & Cover' frightened us all at the time. You look to be having a great trip. Thanks for sharing.
You have brought back wonderful memories of our trip toScotland a few years ago. The Secret Bunker was a highlight for us. (The day we were there is bas blowing a gale) wonderful video.💜🇦🇺
Thanks so much, we enjoyed the bunker too. I took so much footage I couldn’t fit it all into this video. It’s a lovely area to visit, glad you enjoyed coming along with us 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev n Sue
@@PoshcatsCamping that was our experience as well 👍 every single Scottish person we met was so friendly and helpful 👍 we would have absolutely loved it if we had have rocked up and you lovely people had been there 👍 it would have been the cherry 🍒 on the top 🤗 xxxx
Hi Trev and Sue, I’ve been to the Secret Bunker many years ago, I found it very interesting, lovely to have another look around with you both. The beaches were lovely and Sophie loved rolling in the Sandy pools. Oooh what a shame you had emptied the 💦, not to worry. Hope you had a nice meal on the way back, thank you for sharing xx
That was really interesting to see that bunker, it was a little eerie. But what a time capsule. Fallout shelters were all the rage here too in the 50s. That was a very pretty coastline and harbor. But man, Trev, you had to go and empty the water. No border terriers for neighbors and no pub for you, lol. You need to get Sue a big piece of carrot cake to make up for that one :) All our best, Debbie - BluWave Odyssey
Thanks Debbie, the bunker was clearly for the important Scottish people making decisions and keeping control. I wondered where normal folks went to hide from this. It’s modern day madness from recent history and let’s hope it never comes back 😃 Trev
Lovely views. We’re off in our IH to St Andrews next week for a few days. Hopefully the weather stays calm. We love the area and have visited it quite often. Very different Scotland to our home in South Skye. Safe travels.
Yes, as soon as Sophie saw me watching she pretended to be paddling but really wanted to roll in the water. 🤣 She loves the water but drinks the salty sea and then is sick. 😲 Scotland is beautiful 🚐 Trev
I think that was an interesting museum to visit. I will say this, air raid sirens freak me out for some reason. Not that I ever experience them being used. I think it's just the reason for them that gets me. I'm glad you didn't show us the area of injuries you could get. I didn't need to see that. Oh man that Ruby place would have been such a great place to camp! I would love to camp there. What a gorgeous view! Yup that was a good viewpoint. Even with steps I would have had to make it up there to see the view too. Hope you guys are having an amazing trip. Sure looks to me like you are. Love seeing the fur babies a lot too. They're so cute! Haha love how Sue hints about treating her to some food. Subtle, but not lol.
It’s a great place to visit. We didn’t want to leave the dogs too long but we spent well over 2 hours in there. Very interesting and loved the engineering that went into it 😃 Trev
I was there just last week, love the east neuk of fife, some tiny road's down to many of the harbours tho, but we'll worth it, keep on enjoying Scotland 😎🏴
Nice to see less travelled locations. Thanks for opening our eyes to these places. I hear a slight very low background crackle on the video, is that a creaky camera grip or rattly bracelet? (Maybe its 'them bones them old bones a creakin', as the old seafarers bemoan??!!!). Sorry about that comment, it's probably the nuclear fallout as you've been wandering them shelters!!😂👌👌👌🐕🐕🐈🐈🥇🥇⛄🚙
Haha loved your comments. I will listen out for the creaky noises on the sound track. I know the zoom on my Canon G7X mkII is starting to get noisy as it’s 3 years old and I have asked Santa for a new one. I think I have creaky knees but that’s probably not it 😉 We like to take different routes and find the not so well trodden paths 👍🏻🚐 Trev
Yes it’s our intention but it’s just having the time to do it and tour at the same time. Our picture is quite well known so it will be sad to see it go 🙂 Trev
Great video and scenery. Loved seeing more of the dogs. They looked very happy running around the beach.
They do love the beach but Sophie always wants to drink the salty water and it makes her sick 😊 typical terrier 🤣👍🏻🦮 Trev
Excellent 👌. Looking very chilled there the pair of you 😊👌☕️
It’s been a hectic few weeks but this tour is really enjoyable 😃👍🏻 Trev n Sue

Thanks Mark, east coast is full of surprises 🙂 Trev
Brilliant video once again 🐕🐕👍🏻
Thanks John 😃👍🏻 Trev
Great museum, must visit sometime, nice to see Sophie off lead & enjoying a bath!...typical Terrier!
Sophie is a cute little dog and has a very different character to Oscar. She loves the water but will insist on drinking the salty sea water until she is sick. Little rascal, typical terrier yes ! 😃 Trev
Loved the video, thanks for the mention, much appreciated and I hope you enjoyed Crail. The secret bunker looked great, we must go ourselves😊
We really appreciated your input and suggestions. Glad we could give you a shout out. Keep posting the videos 😃👍🏻 Trev
Love looking back at our secret history, so much old technology, reminds me of the one in Liverpool we visited earlier in the year, some wonderful places you visited as well 👍
Thanks Andrew, some of that gear was around when I was an apprentice electrician. I don’t know where those 40 years went 🙂 Trev

Love the buildings and such around the harbor.... It looks like a very interesting place.
The tiny streets and little houses are very pretty. Easy to imagine how the fishermen would make their living 😃 Trev
Another brilliant video and the views looked lovely. Glad your having fun and enjoying your holidays 😊
Thanks Kieron, it’s going very well so far, lots more to come 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
What a beautiful area, and so peaceful.

That museum was recent history but very sobering stuff. As a kid I had no idea of what the consequences would be of a nuclear attack 😲😊 Trev

Reminds me of the coast of Maine. Quaint little town. Hope you’re enjoying your trip.💕😊👍
We would love to tour Maine. Maybe one day we will 😃 Trev
Ruby bay 👍 we were there on Sunday 😄👍 it’s absolutely beautiful isn’t it 👍 ... happy holidays 😎 🤗❤️👵🏼🐾🐾🤠 xxxx

It’s been a fabulous tour so far. Much more to come of course but Fife in Scotland provided some really nice surprises for us 😃🚐 Trev
We were there a few weeks ago,we watched the film it was very graphic and scary tbh

Nope, several stonking great signs by the roadside 🤣🤣 Trev
Do you not think you should change your start up to a campervan instead or a motorhome now have a ih
Yes it’s our intention but it’s just having the time to do it and tour at the same time. Our picture is quite well known so it will be sad to see it go 🙂 Trev
