I don't understand why the writers decided to get rid of Zoot. He was a interesting character but no, They were like screw that. Just let the audience deal with angsty teenagers that constantly complaining..
Zoot was a decoy antagonist and this plot twist got me so hard when I first watched it LOL. Although I feel his death could have been done better cause it wasn’t clear how he fell off the railing. Would be neat if we had a reboot and see Lex and Zoot fight before he accidentally kills Zoot.
@@anansiweb9917 He never pushed or trippt him and he feel over balcony and into floor and died and feelt guilty over it later, but Lex and Bray had there figths in S01 and S02 but became friends in S03 and in S05 Lex ask a boat man where Bray was still alive....
@@marihillestad5486 job I agree. Lex wasn’t the bad guy here. They don’t even show exactly HOW he tripped. Too much momentum, lex tripped him? He tried to dive at lex? Something else I didn’t mention? All of those factors should be added in.
I will give the show credit that zoot was more fleshed out and showed his vulnerability. Future flashbacks shows him being cruel but it makes sense with the rep the locust represent.
Director and Danny James did perfect though, the cut right at the moment after Zoot holds Brady and is about to say something before he gets discovered… we all will always wonder what he would’ve said and done.
It's Lex's fault Zoot died at such young age. Please for the sake of the fans bring him and the back in the sequels and as the real Zoot (Danny James) and not as undead but as a real person who actually never died from that god forsaken balcony and bring Locusts (yes the old actors) back too so he could become their leader again together with Ebony and make them a couple. I don't enjoy the show much without him, it's really heartbreaking!
The convenience they have here doesnt match up to later events, here they talk like trudy and Zoot had been together for sometime and that she was apart of his group and fell pregnant during that time she was with them but ran away after she found out she was pregnant and ended up finding Bray, and after Zoot dies she kinda admits to having loved Zoot. Then, in later seasons, we are shown that she fell pregnant from a one night stand and was never a part of the group and had been with Bray the whole time and has never had feelings towards Zoot. Did the writers forget this, or do i need to rewatch the tribe Then after this, they made Trudy nothing more than being a winny mum whos in love with Bray, also did Zoot kinda forgot that he has a girlfriend.

It was always zoots legacy too die, its just a shame it happened so quick into series 1. I believe he did stick around behind the scenes etc but yes zoot is very interesting! And I believe still explored far after his death in episode 8
Ray the creator of the series actually says that he regrets killing him off too early. In the upcoming Tribe game, we may see a little more of him in some regards, though. ;) #KTDA
@@hotpopcorncake The reason they killed him off early was to bring about The Chosen and later the Zootists. It was to make him a mysterious character since we know so little about him. I’m always fascinated by characters like Zoot who died early since you can’t help but wonder what he would do if he had lived. He was also a decoy antagonist of sorts
I dont think he was ever evil. Rather something broke in him with the arrival of the new word and he lashed out. Martin needed serious theraphy. To bad that stuff was no longer an option..
@@amberanime Well Zoot parents were in the Hospital at time. Bray was the only one watching them. All the sudden Zoot looks like he drank some evil mountain dew that made him change..
Zoot was definitely the most interesting character, was a real pity he disappeared so soon.

I grew up on this television series
Look at the quality. It's shining ✨️ Oye leave Em be!!*
Lex didn’t even kill him, but that sets the tone for him to be Batman or Wolverine now 😂
in (R)evolution book, it says there was a struggle
He said later that he never meant too kill Zoot
@@marihillestad5486 Right? All Lex
did was move out of the way after Zoot charged him.

WE NEED A REBOOT! PLEASE
Zoot should have lasted longer.

If Danny James character didn't go it would have all been different.
