  • It’s not always easy adjusting to a new country. The Welcome Centre of Hochschule Rhein-Waal presents a video that will hopefully give international students an idea on how things work in Germany.

    I saw on DAAD website that living expenses can come to around 850 euros per month including rent, utilities, food etc. I am interested in the Information and Communication Design Bachelor's degree program, and I understand it will be in Kamp-Lintfort campus. I want to know if it is possible to live on much less than 850 euros being frugal in this town.

      Is it also possible for students to work and be able to provide for themselves whilst studying there? Is working (at least part-time) encouraged from Semester 1 itself?

      Dear (prospective) student,
      If you are referring to the preparatory internship, please get in touch with the examination board. Please note that students can only receive information on the recognition of the internship after they enrolled at the university.
      For questions on the internship semester/ semester aborad, you can find general information here: www.hochschule-rhein-waal.de/en/academics/students/examination-services/internshipstudy-abroad.
      Best regards,
      Nele

    I will apply in this University... Is there any part time job facilities?

    • @HSRheinWaal
      @HSRheinWaal  3 роки тому

      As enrolled student you will receive some University job offers through your University email for example. Beside that students can browse current job ads in the career service job portal: moodle.hochschule-rhein-waal.de/course/index.php?categoryid=2040

    How hard is it to get part time job in kleve for undergraduates

    • @HSRheinWaal
      @HSRheinWaal  3 роки тому

      Dear (prospective) student,
      It is nearly impossible to give an estimation on how hard it is to find a part-time job in Kleve as it depends on various factors. A sufficient German language proficiency is definitely beneficial and even a requirement for quite a few part-time jobs. However, searching for vacant positions online can give you a realistic estimation.
