We home you enjoyed watching the Grandview House by Ian Bennett Design Studio house tour. You may remember Ian from a previous feature, Eagle's Nest, which is another brilliant example of concrete architecture in a coastal context. The level of timelessness and refined elegance in this project is marvellous. The way it maximises natural light provides a real sense of relaxation and warmth. Well done!
Beautiful family home . It was great to ask the kids what they wanted . Every detail taken into consideration brought this gorgeous home to light. Love it .
Beautiful home. Incredible location. Love the furniture, and the amount of light + glass. Not a fan of residential concrete, but makes perfect sense on large bodies of water. Very sophisticated, but liveable. I appreciate the amount of ventilation offered, but my fingers are crossed they installed central heating and air. Everyone needs it these days, even if you think you don't. Another winning home down under!
Probably an architect's favorite word lol. Of course, that's because the materiality basically reflects and tells the story of the design and the philosophy, otherwise it's just design for the sake of calling it "design".
Great design! I am confused, though, was this a new construction or remodel of an original house (must've been a pretty new, modern house then, right?). Also, the house has 3 levels but they show only 2, I think. Am I wrong?
These videos are turning out to be all the same, you could do with showing the floor plan rather than predictable slow Mo moments. An actual walk through rather than this over melodramatic stories.

Not my cup of tea…..but can still appreciate this. Thanks for sharing.
This may be one of my favorite designs. I love the kitchen palette. The concrete awning and void add unique touches.
love the vacant space, makes you want to breath deeply.
Es muy agradable de vivir. Un lugar hermoso sin pretensiones. Habitable en todo el sentido de la palabra con el abrazo de la luz.

I just love the space & the view itself! The home compliments both. I love its simplicity yet very family friendly home. Thanks Local Project
wouldn’t be an architecture video without saying materiality.
Well that’s what separates different architecture and designs right? What materials are chosen
@@davidlu7245 “another way we have designed this house with a family in mind is with the materiality”
