I would say that games like Dark Messiah of Might & Magic are just perfect for skill. It's a lot about creativity and using the environment to your advantage. Wish there were more games like it but more open world like Skyrim and story based like Jade Empire, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age.
To everyone looking this up because it's free on origin - On release this game was revolutionary with an amazing story, but just like KOTOR (which is fairly similar), it hasn't aged well. But, free is free.

Make it a habit to hold down block the moment you finish a 3-btn sword combo. The moment you finish one(only sword), you take about a second to return to your default stance before you launch the next attack. enemy A.I attacks you in between. More area attacks!!!...you are gettin' surrounded! If enemy is just beyond the reach of your attack, just jump towards him. You'll land just behind him. And if attacked, flip backward. Your legs will hit him and stop him from advancing too.
Dude! use harmonic combos. My fav. is storm dragon(S.D). Use S.D attack to shock the target. Then use area attack to get a harmonic combo timer over your target along with shocking other near by opponents. Switch to martial style and use power attack. And 'Wham' The target just explodes. No need for hours of kicking. Plus you get a focus power up. Use it to replenish your focus. Try it. Its so fun to execute. Also use storm dragon to shock and then spirit thief to replenish your chi.
I just get at this part yesterday, i have the special edition from steam. and i playing it on Master. Holy shit, some battles are pretty challeges, like the arena on imperial city. easily one of th best games i've played.
How did you get it to work? I downloaded it and I keep getting stuck at the start of the mission. It crashes right when I try to leave the training area

From my memory doing them gives you cool powers and boosts your alignment (good/evil). Most are really fun but you gotta explore each city/forest you are in to find them. I would say this game has a limited free roam (contradictory yes, but no other real way to explain it (don't expect GTA style roaming))

I am pretty sure that you can't but overall, it's a fun game, you may be better off with dragon age origins though if you have the money.
