1. How long have you been a part of Dissonance?
Dissonance started in January 2019 and is the brainchild of Adam aka ADM & Josh Parker (RIP). Adam asked me to come on board shortly afterwards and the rest is history! We are now five years deep and have amazing gigs planned for this year and beyond! Before Dissonance I ran a series of club nights for Western Lore and I had other ventures previously!
2. Tell us about some upcoming gigs:
Very excited for Distant Planet x Future Retro in April, I'm honoured to keep being asked back. To be on a line up with so many of my idols and also some very close friends is a dream come true. You can catch me spinning breakbeat hardcore from 1992 in the Distant Planet room but I'll be there from lights on til lights off!
Also got my first proper festival booking in June when I'll be playing as part of a (semi) secret line up for AnExperience: A Feral Fairytale so I'm very excited for that.
3. Who are your top 2 new jungle producers?
Many will have heard of Artificial Red, as he's been rumbling along and building his presence but the next few years will see him go supernova so definitely one to watch out for there - pure atmospheric old skool-esque goodness from a west country bumpkin, what more could you want?
New on the Bristol scene also are DJ/producer trio, Interlude! Comprised of Ell, Spooks & Rubix - they are part of this new generation of jungle/hardcore/old skool inspired humans that are breathing amazing quality into every corner of this music. As well as running their own club night Elysium, they're DJing all over the country and will definitely be a big deal in the coming years.
