In this video, I talk about the hardest part of becoming a good Fortnite player: Game Sense and Rotations. No matter how good your mehcanics are, if you don't know how to properly rotate in the mid and late game, then you'll never win or place in tournaments. You may build faster than FaZe Sway, have better aim than Mongraal, and edit faster than Raider464, yet without good game sense, you're nothing. Therefore, to help all you guys out, I decided to compile all the secret tips and tricks from pro players like Bugha, MrSavage, Khanada and Benjyfishy, regarding how to rotate. Yes, this is the guide to rotations that I promised for Fortnite Chapter 2. I cover everything from how to rotate to when to rotate and even tips on where to rotate to. On top of that, I include in-game examples from solo cash cups, tournament matches (FNCS) and scrims. So, if you're looking for the best guide on how to rotate and improve your game sense, then this video will definitely help you out. On top of that, this video will make you a smarter player, teach you how to rotate and tunnel like a pro, and win more games in Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2 Season One.

when you are rotating hold out a hard mat because if someone beams you then you will be focused by people and if you are using wood you will be shredded but with hard mats you stand a chance.

ItsJerian, I have a question, what I need to do if when I die I dont know exactly what mistakes I had and how to fix the mistakes?
Depends how you die... If you die because you got into a fight and then the storm came to you your taking to long to rotate and when you do rotate you wanna be in the middle of the circle because your always close or in the next circle and it depends where you landing to... And if you die in a fair 1v1 maybe you did the wrong play or the wrong edit or maybe you your rotating late and on the edge of the circle and that means people are rotating to the circle from other locations that are put of the circle so if your dyinig in 1v1's maybe go play some boxfights with you friends and get good at box fighting because it's really useful if your playing competitively but it all depends on how you die tho so yeah think about not just when you died think about if you rotated to late or to fast and stuff like that

I take low ground and high ground depends on what is going on. If the storm is coming and I’m out of the circle, I rather take high ground. Im not afraid if people knock me down because most of them are gonna be in the circle. I usually take low ground when I have enough info from my surroundings. Low ground is useful for good positioning and hiding. High ground is useful for finding ALOT of info and playing aggressively. Getting high ground can be dangerous because many people can see you, and maybe they will shoot you. So make sure you take high ground at the edge if the circle because on that way, some people don’t expect you to be there.

This didn’t help me much, because I already learned all of this from trial and error in scrims/tournaments. BUT THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD VIDEO. You are so good at getting to the point simply and smoothly while making it easy to understand. I could also tell that the background gameplay was amazing for visual examples

I know a very cool way of knowing if you get circle or not.
1. if the storm looks weird compared to the circle, or say that the storm is especially close as soon as a new circle appears, then that side gets circle.
2. If the storm is going slower than the other sides, then that side will be the closest to the circle or inside it.

although it's True being on a more elevated area is more advantageous but if you get in atleast 10 games of pubs in a private lobby, zones more often even HALF and HALF has a better chance of being pulled on the Lower part of the map. it's rare that zones always will keep pulling over a mountain
If you want to be better turn off mouse aceleration and just practise a lot in aim maps as well as have youre comfortable sens

I make stupid decisions that cost me the game, and I go to places that people don’t even land. You helped me out so much I will give an update of how better I play within the next 3-7 days

2:00 If u go to the middle of the zone, doesnt matter the side that the zone closes, because u will be close to all of them since ur in the middle, but if u go to a corner, theres a chance of the zone to be on the furthest corner u are

Here is basically what jerian said Every zone before the 5th one center circle is the way to go/Fortnite and always go to elevated places on the map in end game and heights man goal is to keep other people from taking it away and rotate as early as possible and look for the right time to go for height and make sure you have enough mats ammo and good enough weapons to keep it and make sure who is around you at all times and when there is a long circle away wait for some players to go first so you won’t get held or shot at and sometimes if possible use natural cover and old builds to cover your self and hard mats for late game and mid game and for blocking shots use wood and your welcome☘️

Hey papa jerian! Don’t tell anybody I said this but I think ur better then proguides!
I have a different strat for rotating late game for you Div 5 - 8 players with at least one PC player, you want to position next to a mountain on lowground so you can sly rotate where ever you want, and you want to not land anywhere popular but no where so lo key that rotation is terrible. You could land somewhere where getting to the middle of the map is downstream or land somewhere where you can use another rotate like steamy stacks with the glider redeploy and the ziplines near dusty reatail and steamy, i will update you with more tricks that helped me and my div 6 PC player (I'm on controller console) (PS4) to gain tons of points to being 1 game from div 7 if this blows up (promise)
