Fascinating video. Is there a playlist of the entire pond series? Your approach to the pond is exactly what I want to achieve myself. You should have more subs and views. Great channel!
Awesome project Mark. Looking forward to seeing it all completed. I did a smaller pond for my parents a few years ago now It looked a bit out of place until the plants grew and softened up some of the rocks. I also added a waterfall with a submersible bilge type pump; it was the focal point of the garden even had goldfish which my Dad enjoyed feeding.
I dug a similar volume pond last November in North Wales. It would have been a logistical nightmare to use a hosepipe. It filled to the top with rainwater, over the course of about six weeks. It's not rained much at all, over February, and pond's still full. Yours looks great!
You're missing the point entirely lol. My neighbour has one. I have full access to it. I wanted to dig it. And i have. And now i have a relationship with the earth.
@@MarksHouseandGardenUK Well each to their own as they say Mark..I have a large pond in my garden and I'm bloomin glad I got a digger in because I def would not of fancied digging it out by hand, but fair play to you...
🏡~Can't wait to see the finished pond with frogs jumping & water lillies floating! 🐸💫🌱🐢🐞🐛👍
Not long now. I'm collecting carpet for under the liner. Mark
Better than going to the gym Mark! Thanks for the update. Coming along nicely!
Can’t wait to see it when it’s finished! Such hard work! G x
Sooner you than me, Mark. That looks like hard work. The pond should be absolutely brilliant when your new neighbours move into it. Well done.
