i love the way you living in hong kong such like a local🤣going to cha chaan teng, wet market, taking bus, eating siu mai and fishball…amazing!!we appreciate you appreciated hk. love you girl.🎉
i like the fact that you are trying out many local food (chicken feet) and checking out hidden local spots like wet market that many expats wouldn't touch or go even after years living in HK, well done! your vlog has a certain calmness to it, keep up the good work!
This is my Home Country, I miss it so much! Hope you will enjoy it!
Appriciate the fact that you explored the older and histocual side of the hk community! While hk is a civilized, advanced and modern city on the outside, building structures (especially in underdeveloped districts like Shum Shui Po), wet markets and country parks bring the 80s vibes in most urban areas. Just simply walking in the streets can make you feel the history behind your surroundings, which has a deep contrast with the modern commercial buildings which may be only one street away. There's a lot for you to explore here!
Highly recommend Daomi to pay a visit to Tsz Shan Monastery. Remember to do the online reservation prior to your trip. :)
The type of temple she went to is more "Traditional", run by locals, so less focus on the visual and maintenance.
Tsz Shan Monastery is a place built by Lee Ka-shing, the most influential businessman in Hong Kong. It's like a showcase of his power, and also designed to show the spirit of Buddhism.
Highly recommended
u forgot to mention "doo" "leave home safe" app and/or validate "vaccination confirmation"when get into mall, have your hair cut, go to gym, eating in all resturants and etc. etc.
Same city, but very different activities 👍 Also surprised you like chicken feet, if I want bone I prefer pork ribs. You should definitely explore the different kinds of fish, you will discovery a whole new world of flavors! I prefer to steam fish as that retains their original flavor the most.
Love your video. Really makes me happy and seeing the features in HK.
Really proud seeing your recent success with the videos! Keep it up and have a nice time in Honkong!😍
There are two beautiful temples in HK which I highly recommend Tsz Shan Monastery and Chi Lin Nunnery. You need to make reservation for the first one, maybe a little bit difficult to book but really worth to visit. Another recommendation is West Kowloon Cultural District.
You have this amazing gift to SLOW Hong Kong down through your lenses......
Ohh... I see that you have gained a lot of new subscribers since your last video. Well deserved!
That cafe you went to in 2:40 is what we called "blue store". Don't go to blue stores.
If you are fighting for democracy and freedom, you should not be imposing your beliefs on others. That is the whole point of it. One of the fundamental factors of democracy is respecting one another's differences and choices.

a suggestion to you is that most of the Museum (operated by government) will be free every Wednesday :)
Well you video went viral and to be fair, it does look like an editorial. The early comments kinda of proved it.
How much 1Q? Are you sponsored by Hong Kong Tourism Board?
How are you during the typhoon T8 signal? Stay safe
After I had watched this video, I think I should go to Singapore. It's really fake
How much did the hk government pay you to promote hk ?
I think she likes to eat hahaha ! nice vlog
I am going back in a month! So excited since I haven't been back since 2014. Seems like a lot has changed. Maybe I will bump into you haha :)
haha Daomi you live near my working place. Looking forward to meeting you in real person. The background music you chose in the video is nice!
Also a reminder of don't show too much of something that can identify your room, floor and stuff like that.
People are usually nice, but not everyone understand the concern from a UA-camr's standpoint.
It maybe OK right now, but more people, more trouble.
Umm...
Highly recommend you to try "Egg Tart" at "Bakehouse"!!!! You will definitely love it !!!
very nice, hope to meet you soon,Hk is such a great city ;)
Relaxing video. Hello Daomi
Personally I don't like HK for it is too narrow and crowded and so materialized. But your video shows a very peaceful mind of yours

Hong Kong is lovely. Hope you enjoy your time living there
Hong Kong was lovely.
欢迎来到香港!希望你能在香港找到自己想要的东西!我看到你字幕里,形容一种食物使用了warm 这个词,我觉得你也是一个温暖的,warm的人:D

Looks like you are quite get used to the life here, eating fishballs and siu mai, drinking milk tea, going to the "Red Apple" (the nickname of the wet market you went to) and using Chinese characters!
Jason's is actually the same as Wellcome, while 'Taste' / 'Great' are actually ParknShop
Life is such a breeze if you can afford an above average apartment and can eat out whenever you like. Such a lucky girl.
Hong Kong is a beautiful city. It is what you make it to be. Foreigners are most welcome. Enjoy
It looks like you get used to the life in Hong Kong! Great to see you enjoy exploring the city!
Im living in Finland, but im from hongkong! Hvnt been home for long, thanks for bring me some tapes from home! Kiitos!
why do you promote 721 event and stupid mask strategy?
exactly
lovely video. I recommend you to check our Sham Shui Po area, there's a lot of cafes there. You should take a look at the geopark as well if you like outdoor adventure. Enjoy your time in Hong Kong. Peace!
I love Fishball and Siu Mai from 7-11😊 Used to be my fav breakfast when I went to work. Watching all these have filled my eyes with tears, I miss my hometown. Continue to enjoy HK ❤
You will be sponsoed by hong kong pikachu. However, this pikachu is a old goat. Go fir it, not behind.
Try Dim Sum Square in Sheung Wan. It's even BETTER than Tim Ho Wan. Even the pork buns are better.
You have a pair of beautiful hands😍
Very nice video, will check out the art exhibition soon 😊
Thanks for the videos! They remind me of the times I spent in HK as a kid.
Will hoist Typhoon Signal 8 tomorrow, take good care!

Pretty amazing how relaxing your vlog is coz life in HKG is so busy for most people. I'm glad you are able to enjoy HKG at your own pace and share your experience.
In fact you said "Marketplace by JASONS" is just the same as "Welcome"
*edit When you have chance , you must visit the "Welcome" in Westwood (Kenndy Town) ! It is the biggest "Welcome" in Hong Kong
I like your video style. No dialogue, no talking. Just arts n visuals. Feels artistic. Keep up. Subscribed.
Also, may i know what equipment you use for filming? Looks really good. Are you using iPhone?
you could try going to this theme park called, ocean park its a very good theme park
Hi Daomi just want to ask if you have recommended sites where i can check rooms for long term rent. I’ll be in HK for the next coming years and i need to have affordable accommodation. TY
How you managed to look for so many places to go? How do you communicate with hk ppl? Going back start of next year, so want to try and visit many places
Very nice quality of video about your hong kong routine life and enjoying every bit of this lovely city. keep going 👍
Suggest to get food in wellcome for local HK food and Aeon for imported food. Their price almost the best in HK for food.
I met someone from Helsinki, he stayed in H.K for 18 months on contract. It's good to see you eat like a local and enjoy the sites in H.K.
So nice to see you share the life in HK as a Finnish gal. Please let me know if you would like to have a local tour guide. I'm happy to show you more for free 😃
Hi daomi, you seems are quite get used to Hong kong environment, try local good, go local wet market, enjoy the life here
nice life vlog. Minimal editing and nice relaxing music with real life background noise!!
Should you know Cantonese? Otherwise, it would be hard to communicate in the wet markets
The cafe wall said “you will be full till 3am” so of course the sandwich is huge😅
You can try Yuenyeung(Coffee with milk tea) next time,it’s good too
It's great to see your videos start blowing up Daomi. I enjoy watching your vlogs. It looks like there are a few shots that are shot in the Hung Hom/To Kwa Wan area. I've been living in this area since I was a baby. I'm glad to see you've already dug deep to a HKer's living style. I'm looking forward to your future videos. Cheers!
